Mental Health Services Mental Health and Addictions Services provides care to clients who exhibit serious or acute mental health issues. The Mental Health and Addictions Services team is comprised of professionals from several specialties including psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, and addictions. If you would like to speak to a health professional about mental health or addictions please call us at 1-877-329-0005 and our intake team will assist you in accessing services. All calls are confidential. The Cypress Regional Hospital features a 10-bed acute inpatient unit offering admission for clients with severe mental health needs. It is designed for clients who have more complex service needs than can be adequately supported in the community.
Midwifery Services The Cypress Health Region houses a Midwifery program. Midwives are healthcare professionals who have specialized education in midwifery and are registered and licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Midwives. Midwifery care includes quality health care, education, counseling, and support for childbearing women. The midwife works with each woman and her family to identify their unique physical, social, and emotional needs. Midwifery services in the Cypress Health Region are free through Saskatchewan Health medical coverage.
