Throughout the year in Primary, we run excursions and incursions. We would love to welcome Community Partners to assist alongside our Primary school staff in the supervision of our children at these events.
The Primary school holds three sporting carnivals a year – Swimming, Athletics and Cross country. Often the assistance of Community Partners at these events in a variety of ways is greatly valued.
We acknowledge that our community extends beyond the students. We would love people to assist the College to build community beyond the classroom. This may involve welcoming new parents at events or engaging with others at assemblies. Knowing that there are people willing to talk to new people will assist us in building our community as a College.
We have a wealth of knowledge and skills within our community that we would love to utilise on occasion
in Parent Consultations, Feedback, Ideas Forums, and Questions and Answers discussions with the Head of Primary. If you believe that your skills and talents could assist the Primary school through these means then we would welcome your involvement.

Our Learning Support area provides assistance in a variety of ways to many of our students throughout their learning journey.
If you are good at communicating with students and are confident in navigating your way around the College, we would appreciate your assistance. There are currently two areas where we require the assistance of Community Partners:
Twice a year we screen our Primary students for Vision and Hearing. As part of this process, we need assistance with escorting students to and from their classroom.
During the HSC Trial examinations and formal examinations, we have the need for readers and/or writers to support our students who have provisions
from the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) for these examinations. If you are clearly spoken and/or a good writer, we would appreciate your assistance with our students in this important part of their learning journey.
The HSC Trial Examinations typically take place in August
The HSC Examinations typically take place across Mid-October – Mid-November

On occasion, the College seeks to make changes to the procedures, products and systems it uses. Prior to these changes occurring we would appreciate the ability to contact members of our community with expertise in relevant areas to test products or systems, or to offer input into procedures.
Areas of expertise that we would like to partner with include those with experience in:
• Information Technology
• Marketing and Communications
• Property and Facilities
• Human Resources
• Event Management
This would be mostly on an adhoc basis depending on the needs of the College. When required the commitment may involve activities such as: testing a system at home, being part of a focus group meeting, or discussing new ideas with a member of the College staff.
