Troubleshoot Garmin Update Error Not Enough Space When Running WebUpdater [Proven Tips] When a user gets 'Not enough space on disk' error on their computer while updating the maps on Garmin device, it means there is not sufficient space on the Garmin unit to run an update.

However, you can easily get rid of the occurring problem by cleaning up some space from the internal memory of the Garmin device. You can delete files like:     

To delete them from your device, follow the given steps and after that, you can continue with your Garmin Update:

Windows Users, follow:

 At first, connect your device to the computer.  Next, press the Windows key and 'E' key together.  Now, open the Garmin device and go to the Internal Storage, if you have MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode devices.  Search for the above-mentioned folders (that are text, voice, vehicle icons, help, and JPEG Images folders).

Note: In case, you do not see these folders, open the Garmin folder.  You have to go through each folder to search for the unwanted files that you can delete.  After selecting the files, press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard.  It will display you a prompt for confirmation, select the 'yes' option.  If you have to delete additional files, you have to follow the same procedure mentioned above.  At last, when you are done, run the WebUpdater once again.

MAC users, follow:  At first, open 'Finder'.  In the menu bar, select the 'Go' option.  Click on 'computer'.  In here, open the Garmin unit.  Now, look for the above-mentioned folders (that are text, voice,

vehicle icons, help, and JPEG Images folders).

Note: In case, you do not do see these folders, open the Garmin folder.  You have to go through each folder to search for the unwanted files that you can delete.  Next, to delete those files, drag them to the Trash icon.  When you are done, empty the Trash. To do so, open the menu bar and click on 'Finder'. And then, select 'Empty Trash' option.  At last, when you are done, run the WebUpdater once again.

Upon completion and successfully deleting the text, voice, vehicle icons, help, and JPEG Images folders, Garmin Update Error Not Enough Space will not appear while running WebUpdater.
