A BUYER SPECIALIST WILL: • Understand the inventory of available homes and streamline the search process for you.   • Show properties that fit your criteria and budget. • Negotiate the best possible price for you.   • Connect you with trusted service providers such as inspectors, lenders, contractors and home warranty companies that suit your needs.   WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: • Buyer must work with their buyer specialist exclusively. • Buyers should not call other agents to see properties. • Buyers should define their “must haves” and “deal breakers” to help us streamline the showing process.   EXCLUSIVE BUYER AGENCY AGREEMENT: • This is a simple document we provide that outlines our services, explains how we are compensated and how we work together. BUYER SPECIALIST SERVICES ARE FREE TO BUYERS! • The seller pays the same commission to the listing agent regardless of whether or not the buyer uses an agent. • The difference is their realtor will make more money and may not be looking out for your best interests. • It does not cost the seller more for the buyer to use their own agent.







MORTGAGE PRE-APPROVAL Unless you are paying cash, getting pre-approved by a qualified lender is one of the most important things to do before you begin your search for a new home. Â

Knowing how much you can spend on a home prevents the heartbreaking experience of falling in love with a home you cannot afford.

Your offer will be taken much more seriously if it is presented with a preapproval letter from a reputable lender. You are free to use a lender of your choice, or we can suggest several we have had successful transactions with. A good lender will gather enough information up front to verify your buying power when a listing agent calls to confirm you are qualified to purchase the home you made an offer on. It’s important to know a pre-approval is not a loan commitment, but it helps speed up the underwriting and loan process.



SEARCH PROCESS We have the systems in place to streamline the home-buying process for you. Â We use many tools to help you search such as: accurate market analysis to help you target the right neighborhoods and make sound investment decisions, customized neighborhood searches in the RMLS database, touring homes and neighborhoods with you, customized listing alerts, and previewing homes you may want to see (or not!)

CANCELED AND EXPIRED LISTINGS We will take the time to look over homes that fit your criteria that were on the market previously and might still be available.

TARGETED MAILING AND NETWORKING If you cannot find what you want in a specific area, we can use other tactics like sending letters to specific buildings, neighborhoods or specific houses.

OPEN HOUSES AND BROKERS OPENS We will notify you of Saturday and Sunday open houses. Broker open houses for realtors are held on Tuesdays and we often encourage our buyers to attend these to get a first look at new homes on the market. It is customary for you to let other agents know you are working with an agent.

WILL FENDON Prior to joining the Luxury Homes International Division of Keller Williams Realty, Will Fendon was Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty’s top-producing agent in Lake Oswego. He’s also a 7-time winner of the “Five-Star Professional” award for realtors based on survey results of past clients, peers and industry experts. In addition to serving on the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors Committee for Professional Standards and Grievances, Will is the former Chairman of PMAR’s Committee for Media and Public Relations, which coordinates communications to the public and nearly 8,000 licensed realtors in Portland. He is a Certified Luxury Home Specialist as well, with additional expertise in professional athlete and corporate relocation, new construction, land development and lifestyle properties. Will’s reputation for effective negotiating, finding creative solutions and genuine service stems from more than a decade of experience as a professional film and television writer, producer and media consultant for companies like NBC Television, MSNBC, Microsoft Corporation and WIRED Magazine, among others. His experience as a contributing writer to shows like “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” among others, helps him bring levity to the potentially stressful process of buying or selling property. When he’s not helping clients, Will relishes spending time with his family snow skiing, cycling, coaching youth lacrosse and playing drums and percussion with a variety of professional bands. JENNY RAZE I am an experienced real estate broker practicing in the State of Oregon since 1996. I specialize in residential properties in the Portland Metro area. I also have a background in new construction, multi-family, investment properties and property management. You can count on me for reliable, informed and professional service. A member of the National Association of Realtors and a certified negotiation expert, I stay on top of the latest law changes, real estate trends, local market knowledge, technological advancements and new innovations in marketing. I recently won the “Five-Star Professional” award and was recognized for my professional excellence and leadership in the Real Estate industry. It is my goal to provide first class professional service, honest advice and the highest quality, most innovative and exceptional real estate service available. It is important to me to have excellent listening and communication skills. With my ability to create a unique, memorable and personal experience for each of my clients over the years it has helped me build a business of referrals and repeat customers. Portland has been my home since age five. I love this city and all that it has to offer. I received my Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University. In my free time, I enjoy renovating homes, interior design, playing tennis, golf and getting friends together for a “friendly” game of poker. I love working out, yoga, meditation and hiking in the gorge whenever I get a chance. I have recently discovered the exciting sport of Kite Boarding and enjoy taking lessons in beautiful Hood River. I feel fortunate to be a part of a volunteer organization called Trauma Intervention Program, where I provide emotional aid, practical support and resources to those involved in traumatic events and their families in the first few hours following a tragedy. Traveling is a passion of mine that I enjoy doing with my two teenage kids and husband. I’m always up for a good movie, going to the theater or reading a self help book. Cooking an interesting meal with a glass of full body Cabernet is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening and of course that includes a piece of delicious dark chocolate. 22


CHELSEY REID A 5th generation Oregon native, Chelsey’s family history runs deep: her ancestors built the first bungalow in Portland, started the Portland tradition “Lights on Peacock Lane,” and also built the oldest cabin on mt. Hood, an Oregon Historic National Landmark, that still stands today. Chelsey boasts an extensive marketing background, previously working as the Marketing Coordinator for the Woodburn Premium Outlets, as well as working for the largest Advertising agency in the country, The Richards Group, located in Dallas, Texas, where she managed accounts like ULTA Beauty, MetroPCS and Chuck E. Cheese. She also holds an Advertising degree from the University of Oregon. Chelsey got her start in real estate doing marketing for Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty where she oversaw the company website, events, and marketing plans for 500+ brokers. From there, Chelsey made the transition from the marketing department to the Will Fendon Properties team as a licensed agent. She brings her knowledge of the local community and building brands to the team, where she also helps with office management and assists with new buyers. When Chelsey is not doing real estate, she enjoys taking the boat out on Lake Oswego, camping along Oregon’s beautiful rivers, practicing yoga and playing competitive softball.



JANE FENDON Jane Fendon brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the advertising industry to the Will Fendon Properties team. Always a top-producer, she excelled in sales for some of the world’s greatest publications such as Sunset, National Geographic, Outside and WIRED magazine, among others. Jane’s past clients include Lexus, Toyota, Acura, Honda, Porsche, Infinite, Microsoft, Intel, Canon, Johnson & Johnson, Lipton, Warner Lambert, UPS, AT&T and many more. Launching WIRED magazine’s sales office in Venice, CA, and landing some of the biggest advertisers in the world was a milestone for Jane. In her publishing career, she was awarded the “National Salesperson of the Year” award five times! After taking some time off to be a stay-at-home mom with twin boys, Jane got started in real estate at Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty, where she focused on marketing projects, special events and vendor relations. Jane’s experience and wisdom was one of many elements that lead the Luxury Homes International Division at Keller Williams to recruit the Will Fendon Properties team to join their new office in Lake Oswego. Jane has lived in Lake Oswego for 9 years and wants to use her experience to build the team’s business and contribute more to the local community and Portland. Jane holds a BA in Business, Marketing and Management from Eastern Illinois University. Her passion for adventure travel has taken her to more than 31 countries. She’s a longtime volunteer for Art Literacy, PTO Board activities, the Lake Oswego Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Big Sister program and church service. At home, she’s devoted to raising her boys and spending as much time as possible with friends, family and her amazing husband, Will (who told her to say that). 26


JILL BURKE I am a blessed mom of 2 amazing kids. My daughter Audrey is our oldest and loves horses. My son, Payton loves anything sports related. I have been married to my wonderful, hard working, husband for 18 years. Our favorite thing to do together as a family is to camp. We love the outdoors (hiking, biking, etc.) and have fun exploring new places. I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in business. I tried teaching for a year, but I was really being drawn to the business world. I got a job running the engineering team and then eventually the global sales team at a local company, Warn Industries. After a few years, I realized I needed something new and I wanted to be more in control of my schedule, so I pursued real estate (was not more in control of my schedule) . I worked as a real estate Broker at Coldwell Banker for 4 years until I had my daughter and then wanted to stay home for a while. I absolutely loved real estate and it has always been my desire to get back into the industry. After a couple of part time jobs while raising small children, I realized I wanted to get back into the industry. I am a details person so I decided to go into the transaction coordination side in 2014 and it is perfect for me. I love the real estate industry and am so happy to be a party of it again!



KELLIE MANN Kellie Mann’s passion for remodeling homes and interior decorating inspired her to become a full time real estate professional nearly 10 years ago. As a listing and buyers’ specialist for the Will Fendon Properties team, her ability to spot a good investment property, “fixer” or dream home in Portland is a valuable asset to clients and explains why she has so many stark raving fans! Kellie’s clients value her sincerity and proven ability to negotiate effectively in today’s complex real estate market. Before real estate, Kellie’s poise and professionalism enabled her to excel as a marketing manager for top FM radio stations in Portland, where she regularly interacted with the biggest stars of music and television.In addition to being a devoted mom and community volunteer, she loves cooking, traveling and rooting for her husband in local cyclocross competitions! She holds a BA in Mass Communications from Linfield College.
