KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Kaziranga National Park, located in the Indian state of Assam, is one of the most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, Kaziranga is famous for being home to the largest population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. Spanning across the floodplains of the mighty Brahmaputra River, the park covers an area of around 430 square kilometers, offering visitors a unique chance to witness an untouched wilderness rich in biodiversity.

TYPES OF SAFARI IN KAZIRANGA.

JEEP SAFARI

The most popular and widely available option, jeep safaris cover vast areas of the park. They allow visitors to explore different zones and increase the chances of spotting rhinos, elephants, swamp deer, wild buffalo, and even elusive tigers. Jeep safaris are ideal for those who wish to photograph wildlife and landscapes.

ELEPHANT SAFARI

A unique experience in Kaziranga, elephant safaris usually take place early in the morning. Perched on the back of an elephant, tourists can get remarkably close to rhinos and other herbivores, something not possible in a jeep. The gentle ride through the tall grasslands offers a rare sense of adventure and safety.
