BIRD BEHAVIORS! In the video we spent some time examining many different physical adaptations of the three categories of birds (Predators, Prey and Scavengers). Now it is time to make some discoveries of your own!

YOUR CHALLENGE: Step 1 - Find a Bird to Observe: You can watch a bird to watch outside, on a webcam, or in a video clip for this activity. If You watch a bird outside Please Make sure to stay at a safe distance from your animal. Getting too close can stress it out and change the results of your study.

Step 2 - Collect Information about your Bird: 1. What species is your bird?

2. What category do you think your bird is part of? Predator? Prey? Scavenger? 3. What do you see that makes you see it is part of that category?

Step 3 - Behaviors: The things that you see your bird doing, are called behaviors. List and/or draw some of these behaviors on the sheet on the next page. You will use these to help you do a quick study of your bird!
