WHO ARE WE?

Wider is a family-owned business offering customized interior fittings and furniture since 1948. The CEO, André Wider, represents the third generation of owners. He took over the company business in 1997, where he had only couple of handeful employees. Today, he is at the head of 3 workshops of 12'000m2 in Montreux, Bussigny, Geneva and a showroom in Bussigny "Espace Wider".

Wider SA subsidiary in Italy plays a major roll in strengthening its presence in Europe, to reinforce production cost effectiveness, increase client base and portfolio of offers.

Wider expansion goes beyond the atlantic with the opening of its new offices in New York, USA, granting international presence to assist its customers in their market retail development.

WHAT IS OUR PRODUCTION CAPACITY?

Self-owned woodworking & carpentry workshops in Geneva, Bussigny, Montreux and Italy; FF&E procurement services through our office in Italy.

Wood is our main artwork but we offer as custommade items, glass, acrylic, chromium plating, and powder coating; profiles and solid steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

State of the Art numeric generated technical drawings and modern machinery guarantee a high quality of products.

PRODUCTION

MILLWORK Our custom millwork capabilities allow you to have wood fixtures designed and manufactured to your specifications. Our millwork fabricators can value engineer and manufacture a range of stylish retail solutions including high-end painted or stained wood finishing, solid surface, reclaimed materials, veneer, mid-level laminate or affordable melamine finishes.

METALWORK Alongside our in-house design engineers, Wider’s metalsmith partners are experts in what they do and have been working in the industry for more than a decade. Stainless steel, aluminium, steel, copper plated and brass plated are just some of the metals our teams has worked with. They create fixtures for high-end retail spaces, artistic & decorative features, structural metal frames, and railings.

HOW DO WE ANALYSE COST?

Our pricing approach is grounded in both our extensive retail furniture and fittings experience along with our application of repeatable production. One example of how we do this is our proprietary solution, to guide luxury companies through their process of analysing cost of their investments in retail development, and markdown decisions they need to make throughout the life cycle of their point of sales to minimize cost while keeping good quality of their corners and shops to the image of their brand.
