Entering Vietnam with an E-VISA

When your e-visa is approved, you will receive your E-Visa sent to the email address you provided. You may print the visa document but it is not required. You can also show the approved visa document on your phone or tablet. If you choose to keep it digitally we recommend downloading the document (so it can be viewed offline) and storing it in a place you can find easily. You will likely be asked by the airline to show your visa approval when checking in to your flight If you cannot present your approved visa, or if there are errors, the airline will not let you check in.

When you arrive in Vietnam, you can proceed straight to the immigration line Unlike in the past, there is no requirement to get a visa sticker in your passport. Just show your passport and visa doument to the immigration officer and they will give you an entry stamp. From there, you can collect your bags and go through customs.
