CUSTOM WEDDING DESIGNS

Two unique wedding stationery collections for destination weddings, each inspired by the location and personality of the couple. From illustrated invites to matching day-of details, each suite offered a memorable first impression for guests — setting the tone for the celebrations to come.

• Tropical Getaway (2010): Boarding Pass & Palm Vibes

For a beachside wedding, I designed an invitation suite styled like a boarding pass, complete with a tear-off RSVP stub and tropical illustrations of palm trees and hibiscus flowers.

• Desert Fiesta(2012): Sombreros & Sunset

This vibrant suite was created for a desert destination wedding, infused with playful Mexican-inspired motifs like sombreros, geckos, and desert flora.

THE BOSS Kitchen & Bar, Restaurant

Brand Concept & Visual Identity Design (2025)

Located on Banff Avenue, THE BOSS Kitchen & Bar is a bold new culinary destination inspired by the power and presence of the Rockies — and the legendary grizzly that locals call “The Boss.” I was commissioned to lead the full creative direction, from concept to launch.

THE BOSS needed a confident, clean, and memorable identity that would stand out in a competitive tourism-driven market. I developed a logo that merges strength with sophistication, using a stark grizzly silhouette carved from negative space — a nod to “The Boss” himself — paired with refined typography to reflect elevated dining.

The visual system extends across digital and print, including menus, signage, merchandise, and a responsive web experience. Every element was designed to reinforce a brand that’s rugged, modern, and unmistakably Banff.

Innova Fences is a growing distributor specializing in high-quality fencing products. I was brought on to establish a professional brand presence and create a full suite of visual assets to support both their digital and print marketing needs.

London Drugs, Pharmacy & Full-service Retailer

Freelance Design for tartanbond (2023)

As a freelance contractor for tartanbond, I created a full suite of visual assets for a holiday media event hosted by London Drugs. The event was exclusively for press, including traditional, broadcast, and digital media, with a small portion of influencers included in the guest list.

The goal was to build awareness of London Drugs’ seasonal offerings and reinforce the brand’s identity as a trusted Western Canadian retailer that understands what Canadians need to prepare for the holidays.

Freelance Motion & Visual Design (2023/24)

As a freelance designer for tartanbond, I created a series of animated digital greeting cards designed to be embedded in client emails as GIFs. These short animations brought a personal, branded touch to tartanbond’s seasonal and cultural communications — designed for smooth performance and strong visual impact across email platforms.

1. Holiday & New Year Greeting Card

A festive concept built around paper cut-out-style ornaments, each representing a different tartanbond Canadian office locations.

• Illustrated ornaments in a layered, handcrafted paper style

• Animated snowfall within each ornament to evoke a warm winter feel

• Designed to loop seamlessly and display cleanly in email signatures or campaign banners

2. Tartan Day Greeting Card

To mark Tartan Day, created a clean, modern GIF inspired by traditional Scottish weaving.

• A flat animation of a woven tartan pattern — rhythmic, minimal, and graphic

• Subtle, looping motion to mimic the texture and rhythm of weaving

Fascination Haircuts & Clothes is a local hair salon known for its creative styling and fashion-forward approach. From 2017 to 2019, worked with the salon to create and maintain a website that captured the personality and energy of the brand.

Driving visual design from within SkiBig3’s internal creative department, I was responsible for creating and updating a wide range of digital advertising assets to support ongoing marketing campaigns. Explored multiple creative directions to reflect the brand and the spirit of the Canadian Rockies:

• A corporate colour pattern using SkiBig3’s brand palette for a clean, minimalist look

• A full-wrap ski hill map design, integrating terrain details from Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay

• A bold, graphic design inspired by the tagline “Canada’s Wild is Calling”, featuring illustrated wildlife such as a bear or howling wolf — celebrating the wild nature of the Banff National Park environment

As part of the in-house design team at SkiBig3, created custom Gogglesoc designs to be used as both promotional giveaways and retail merchandise at the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub Store.

• Created multiple themed designs to engage a wide audience of skiers and snowboarders

As part of the SkiBig3 team supporting both eCommerce and Sales & Marketing, created a wide range of retail signage for the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub Store in Banff. These assets were designed to enhance the in-store experience, promote seasonal campaigns, and maintain a strong, consistent brand presence.

• Window Clings & Decals – Branded storefront graphics to promote offers and drive foot traffic

• Backlit Displays & Hanging Banners – Large-format visuals to anchor featured products and seasonal messaging

Leading all in-house design initiatives at SkiBig3, I produced a range of motion and video assets to support digital marketing campaigns, elevate brand visibility, and enhance audience engagement across channels.

In-House Design & Web Work

In-House Graphic & Web Design Specialist BUFF® Canada | 2021-2022

In this dynamic in-house role, I was responsible for a wide range of visual design needs across digital, print, retail, and product marketing for BUFF® Canada. My work supported both local campaigns and global brand initiatives, helping shape a consistent and compelling visual presence across platforms and product categories.

The role evolved significantly over time — starting as the sole designer for the Canadian marketing team, then expanding into a North American design role collaborating closely with the U.S. team. Following the merger of all global BUFF® branches, I transitioned into a global DTC (direct-to-consumer) designer, working directly with design teams at headquarters in Spain as well as international colleagues to support global eCommerce, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

This position required adaptability, cross-cultural collaboration, and a strong understanding of both regional market needs and global brand strategy — with deliverables ranging from seasonal catalogues, trade show materials, digital ads, social content, email campaigns, to motion design and custom product development.

Seasonal Wholesale Catalogue Design (2021-2022)

Designed and produced biannual printed catalogues (Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter editions), ranging from 50 to 70 pages, to support BUFF®’s wholesale and B2B efforts across Canada.

• Created product-focused layouts showcasing seasonal collections, complete with product categories, detailed descriptions, and individual SKU numbers

BUFF® is a long-time sponsor of the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival & World Tour, and I supported the brand’s full-funnel campaign to promote its presence and exclusive event product.
