Reardon has benefited from surrounding himself with like-minded professionals who are deeply committed to their clients and profession. This has motivated him to remain involved in the organization and committee. Communicating complex ideas in simplistic terms has always been one of his strengths. After sitting through several tax meetings, Reardon learned from a WICPA member about the need for more technical financial planning continuing professional education workshops to help address growing client needs. As a result, Reardon created a series of financial planning workshops for members and uses his communication skills to bring technical financial planning knowledge into the CPAs’ day-to-day client conversations. “It’s great to be able to give back to an organization that has helped me better serve our clients,” he said. wicpa.org
