4th Annual Wickenburg Leadership Institute Graduation

The 4th Wickenburg Leadership Institute sponsored by Arizona Public Service, the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Wickenburg and the Wickenburg Unified School District, saw thirteen participants graduate from the program on November 5th, 2014.

The Wickenburg Leadership Institute is a higher learning program that encompasses topics including Education, Environment, Health, Transportation, Government, Public Safety, Community and Economic Development and Arts and Culture in a total of 8 weeks with the purpose of educating and creating future leaders for the Wickenburg area. Participants are also expected to complete a graduation project that benefits the community. This year they were asked to choose from three proposed projects including:

a Community Drug Awareness program, a Voter Awareness Event or to form an Early Education Committee. The Wickenburg Leadership Institute graduation was held at Ringo’s Restaurant with speaker Evelyn Casuga, General Manager for Community Affairs with APS. Graduates of the program include: Amy Sloan, Annie Masters, Ben Root, Connie Jenson, Don Compton, Dylan Healy, Haylee Johnson, Jacque Enloe, John Wemesfelder, Jeanie Williams, Continued on page 3

It’s a great opportunity to meet her and learn more about the team and their community outreach.
