Interviewed by Tony Camacho WP: Tell us a little about what it was like to be the little Ruth Klein?

RK: The little Ruth Klein, I grew up

always seeing myself a little different. Both parents are Holocaust survivors. And the beauty of that was I learned that life is very precious…. things that bother us, in the scheme of things, don’t matter. I was very fortunate to really get that at an early age.

WP: The idea that your parents were

Holocaust victims, is that something they shared with you at an early age?

RK:My mother was at Auschwitz and

she probably had the worst of it. She could never speak about it, and so all that rage and what she saw I think she took internally. And it wasn’t until I was maybe 10 or 11 that I wondered why my mother had this band aid on her arm all the time. And she would tear it off, and one day I saw numbers and I connected the dots.

WP: How did that it impact you, when

you made the connection that “Oh my goodness, my mother must have been at a camp!”

RK: Don’t forget, I was young and my

life was beautiful, and I had a mom and dad that took care of me, and I had a wonderful brother as well. I was Overly Protected, as in capital “O”. At the time I didn’t really understand it. But I

She had survivor’s guilt, big time. And my dad had a brother that survived and a sister that survived and a second sister, who survived after the war, but ended up getting tuberculosis and died. She survived the war. And my dad never…

it and I graduated in three years.

WP: So were they people that were

WP: You mean socially? RK:Socially it was difficult because I

here, the survivors from your father’s side? Were they your contacts locally?

RK:My uncle went to Montreal, Canada and my aunt went to Australia.

WP: So again, they weren’t necessarily people in your world who on occasion shared little bits of the past.

RK: No one, Tony, absolutely no one. And I lived in central California in a small area, Bakersfield. So there weren’t any Holocaust survivors there. If there were, I didn’t know of any. And my parents worked 7 days a week, my mom worked with my dad all time. Growing up I learned to be very independent. My mother would say “Sweetheart, when you were five years old you didn’t even want me to brush your hair anymore.” I learned at a really young age, I need to take care of myself. My parents don’t speak English well, they don’t know the culture. When I was in high school, I loved school. Still, high school was difficult for me. I couldn’t wait to get out of there, so I figured out how to do

WP: For something that was difficult, you conquered it rather easily. Nice job.

RK: Then I ended up going to

college, I could have done without high school.

was overprotected. And this idea about football games - NO! And if I was going to go play and do that sort of thing, I would have had to have lied to go to a friend’s house. Then college, when I was on my own and it was (laughs), it was great, it was a completely different world.

WP: As you describe it, essentially, because there was that sense (and understandably, given the background of your parents), of having this space where it was permissible for you to be who you could be, just not ‘outside of here as long as we can keep an eye on you and we can monitor you’.

RK: Oh yeah, absolutely. And in fact

it’s interesting, because many of my clients would tell me independently “Ruth, you’re the best kept secret around.” And I would go ‘That’s cool!’ until I realized, that’s not such a good thing. And what I interpreted was: Be very successful, but not too much; be

RK: I have been very, very, very, very

who you are, but not too much; be visible, but not too much. I can be Jewish here, but if I could be Jewish everywhere, ooh, I don’t know if that would be safeJewish to the whole world, I don’t know where I would be.

WP: So where do you think the ‘not too much’ came from?

parents. The experience of being Jewish, you’d get knocked down or worse, you’d get killed. It wasn’t safe, that’s what it was. I love learning. And I love speaking. In fact it’s funny, when I was younger my parents said I used to walk and talk in my sleep. And there is so much truth to that! I have SO much to say, Tony; I have so much to say.

WP: It had to come through somehow. RK: And it’s no wonder that I write books

because that’s safe isn’t it? Over the years I thought, ‘Wow’, when I finally put the pieces together: ‘that’s very safe.’ I needed to find my voice, and take that voice and integrate it into a message that I wanted to share with the world. And so the way I’ve chosen to do it, evidently, (it was all kind of a subconscious thing, until you look back, and hindsight is 20/20) is helping mostly conscious entrepreneurs with their voice at a deep place, and to get the message they have. But in order to get the message, they need to tap into that the passion place. They’ve forgotten a lot of the passion. I have a client in Israel -- ironically, my first client in Israel, which is surreal with everything that’s going on. One time we were talking, and she says, “Excuse me Ruth,” because she had to check the radio to see if she needed to go into the bomb shelter. It was surreal, I mean you hear it and you know it. But she was saying “Ruth, I know I’m going to lose weight now, because there was so much weight on me in not getting this out.”

WP: I want to make a comment on what

you were sharing. It fascinates me, this limitation of having success, seeing this glass ceiling so-to-speak, and then creating more success. And the force of what was known by you about your parents, and what your parents shared with you, that there’s potentially a huge risk involved in coming out too much, and certainly of being, in a sense, ‘Jewish’ too much. I mean to come back a bit and regroup.

Because you can give someone all of the steps and skills in the world, but if they get in their own way, they will only get so far...

“

RK: The ‘not too much’ came from my

fortunate. I have not run into any antiSemitism. That, or I’m just not awake, or I’m oblivious to it. You know, if something would happen when I was growing up, and my dad instantly would go there, and I’d say “No dad, it’s not because I’m Jewish.” I don’t separate me from being Jewish. I am Jewish, this is who I am. Like the [Holocaust] prisoners, they are who they are, and that’s a piece of them. And on that note, as a result what people forget -- potential clients will say, ‘Well, Ruth I want to go into another career but I can’t. I was in finance and I now want to go into healing and I can’t use that.’ Oh, no, no, no. I do the authentic branding. Authentic branding is everything, all of who you are: the successes, the alleged failures (and....feedback), and your opinions, academics and what you learned along the way; and the hard knocks, and the good knocks and the whatever knocks, and then integrating all of that into this beautiful, I call it brand print. And just as everyone has a fingerprint that is different, even twins, everyone has a brand print, and I have the opportunity to help them see it.

WP: I want to come back to fill in some of the gaps.

RK: Yep. WP: So high school was kind of mundane, your average high school other than maybe not too social, maybe you were a bit withdrawn.

RK: I was academic, I was on a mission. Tony, I knew I was going to go to college and graduate school, like a kindergartener knows they’re going to go to first grade. I was on a mission. And it was okay with me not being active socially, because that wasn’t important to me. But what was, the memo I got was education, education, education! WP: So, then you’re out of high school and into college, did you go locally or where did you go?

RK: I went to UCLA. Continued on page 8

WP: Ok, great school, right here down the street. And what were you into?

RK: Psychology. All this time I’d been interested in psychology and quantum physics. We didn’t know it at the time; it was Kaballah, really.

WP: Oh, there is a new movie coming

out on Kabbalah. Should be interesting.

RK: Oh really? Oh, I’m so there. So

the first weekend I went down, I ended up meeting my to-be husband at UCLA. I loved it. I graduated and went directly into grad school, into psychology. And as much as I loved clinical psychology, something was missing. And I don’t know what it was and I didn’t know what it was until I ended up getting a degree in spiritual psychology.

And on that note, I always thought it was so powerful to implement a process at a very young age where we can really encourage children to ask questions, and in a way where we reward them. It’s who can ask the most questions today?

I like the story, because it’s an unfolding of who you really are. And I think, whether we write or whether we sing, it doesn’t make a difference, we are revealing ourselves to ourselves.

RK: I love that. And I do the same

RK: That’s exactly right.

WP: So you’re out of school, you’re doing a little bit of teaching…

RK: And then I’m having babies! I had three of them.

WP So now you transition from college.

WP: True, because now you had the

tools to address the whole person. And so you went to University of Santa Monica?

RK: Yes, I went to USM and went the third year for conscious health and healing. I remember the first weekend I was there, I felt like I was home.

WP: It was a uniquely differentworld.

RK: Ah! AHHH! It felt like home

every weekend. I was going to quit, because the hours for me were -- you know, having worked all week -- ah, but I’m grateful I stayed. This was the beginning of me learning. You need to just start it, just do it. And the corollary to that is, you know so much more than you think you know.

WP: Yes, absolutely. We hold a wealth

of information, all the information we need.

RK: And thirdly I thought, you know what, if I don’t know the answer… I realized that when someone said “I don’t know the answer to that Ruth, but let me find out for you,” I was so impressed.

WP: I think that’s a wonderful quali-

RK: Yes. What happened was, the

transition was one of my ‘A’ students, one of two of them, because I was considered a tough Prof. One of my students at the time worked for Continental Telephone and he said, “Ruth, you have to meet my HR person,” and I said, “Okay fine.” I went and spoke to him. He hired me on the spot, and he said, “Do you do performance appraisals?”

WP: Performance appraisals? RK: Performance appraisals, which

are appraising people’s performances to teach them. And I didn’t do it; I went and I did my studying -- it’s all psychology. And that led from this to another corporation, where I was doing training in management skills, and bringing in a lot of psychology, which people loved.

WP: I understand you’ve written a

number of books. How many books is that for you Ruth?

RK: Six, and three in the works. WP: Six books, that’s quite an accomplishment. For a lot of people, they

WP: And for you, that seems to be

one of your skills: To see very clearly, which then gives you a skill to look for those things in other people or other organizations, if you look at it as a person in a way, and always how can they bring it all together, to fulfill their destiny and their needs.

RK: Right, absolutely. And whether

it’s one solo or single entrepreneur or many, it doesn’t matter. It’s like Howard Schultz, from Starbucks, I fell in love with Starbucks when I read his book, his story. Why? He always said that he would take care of his employees. And it’s very employee-centric. And Ben & Jerry’s, you know I’m really into that culture. It’s that, it’s this, it’s the essence of the person. And you’re right, you don’t know what that essence is until you hear them speak their story. So many people think they have nothing to say or no one will be interested in what they have to say…ummm... until I get my hands on them! (laughs). This is the key to what I do. I ask the question. It’s not so much the answer as it is the question. It’s an academic person, it’s not their heart. It’s not their story. And then they say to me, no one has ever asked me this! And they get all excited.

WP: And they get inside their passion.

RK: Yes! Here is the deal when you tap into that passion: there is no other way you can be.

WP: It’s very powerful. RK: It just happens, and you let it

happen, and you let it unfold. and I don’t try to second-guess myself be-

cause I don’t know, I have to ask the questions. I don’t know, I have to ask. And usually they don’t know. And the good thing is that they don’t know. And that’s so beautiful. So we learn together. We brainstorm together.

WP: And they’re willing to be risk-

takers. Let it unravel the way that it’s going to unfold.

RK: It’s interesting you say that about risk. I did pick that up from my dad, risk-taking.

WP: It’s a fascinating tale, the story

that you have, in the way that you operate and the way that you negotiate business, the way that you deal with business. And I appreciate it from a standpoint of, there’s not a series of protocols for it, but in a way there is. It’s more of a mindset. A way of being connected to yourself emotionally, spiritually, being more heart-centered. And in another way there are rules and regulations to make it happen. But what I am hearing most of all is, that it’s more about a process of really honoring yourself and connecting with the authentic you and letting that voice come forward, letting it pulsate into your world, whatever world you’re in, your entire world. And it will act as a magnetic force to bring these things to you.

RK: Absolutely, and you said it so

beautifully, because there are two parts to it. It’s mindset and skills. And I feel very exceedingly grateful that I have a clinical psychology background and the spiritual psychology background to help people move past they’re limiting beliefs. To help them get out of the way. Because you can give someone all of the steps and skills in the world, but if they get in their own way, they will only get so far, and then they’ll get overwhelmed or they’ll stop or they’ll revert back. So it’s a dance. Between listening to what’s happening with their mindset, and then giving them skills so that they can go for it, so they can take action. And then it’s like we get a little bit of clarity until we don’t, we get a little bit of clarity until we don’t. But it’s more than just mindset,

it’s also got to be the skill sets there also. So it’s a combination of the mindset and the specific skills.

WP: There’s a patterning that hap-

pens. There is a blueprint, if you will, that’s embedded in us, impregnated in us, that we’ve grown up with. We have certain beliefs and certain behaviors that we engage in to feel safe, and to feel comfortable and so forth. So at some point you’re asking people to step beyond the threshold of those points. Which is the bigger task, because I guess what I’m asking is, what is the carrot that you dangle in order to get them to cross over the threshold?

RK: A couple of things. Number one,

I need to be listening to what I call their risk tolerance. So that if I give them too much, too much homework or too many things, they’ll be trapped because they’re not ready for it. I can talk to someone for 20 minutes and can see their whole enterprise, I can see how they can be profitable. The bottom line is to help my people have financially successful and spirit-rich businesses. That’s the bottom line.

WP: I like that phrase, the spirit-rich

business. I want to ask you a couple of questions. What’s on the radar for you? I see you have these books.

RK: Well one is about quantum syn-

chronicity. And it’s called “Quantum Synchronicity…Time”. And then there’ll be another one on branding. There’ll be another one on parenting. There’ll be another one on money, because it’s just so rich, it’s rich. You know what it is, Tony? It’s a culmination of everything I’ve learned and everything of who I am. So when I really start writing, it’s like, oh man! I just write a little at a time. Then I have a book tour, which is something that is even closer. I’m going on an 11-city book tour. I’m not launching new books, I am relaunching. So… I love birthdays, and I think they’re very special. And I thought, you know what? I’ve got two books, one on time management, one on de-stressing, wouldn’t it be cool to have a birthday bash! So re-launch and have a birthday bash. That’s what that book tour is all about. And I am so im-

pressed, even though they’ve been out for years, they keep selling. But Barnes & Noble on Third Street in Santa Monica is doing a book signing, and I am so impressed by that, and by them. And then I also have a once a year -- I love this -- I have a three day live event. The fiirst day is about branding. The second day is about marketing. And the third day is about money. I can’t tell you how much fun I have, and how much benefit my participants say that they receive. They change their businesses around just from that three day event.

WP: Is that something that you do annually? Where do you do that?

RK: This one is at the Intercontinen-

tal Hotel here in Los Angeles, on Avenue of the Stars in Century City, and it’s November 7th, 8th and 9th. Usually it’s a week earlier, but there’s a conference that I’m going to. Because I love to use the mask, for Halloween. Because of how we brand ourselves and all of that. So that’s kind of fun. But the other day I thought it’d be really fun -- I probably shouldn’t share this, it’s kind of tacky, but I, for whatever reason, I kind of like it. There was a TP roll and it was empty. I don’t even know why I thought of this, it was yesterday in fact. You know what, I’m going to pass them out at the event and ask them, “What do you feel your role is in your business?” And the reason I want to do that is because, we learn best when we can experience. They’re going to remember. The vernacular is, don’t work in your business, but work on your business. What does that mean? What does that mean for someone who doesn’t know? But if I can say ‘What do you feel your role is…in your business?’ Then there’s only one answer that I’m looking for. I’m not going to share it, because people might read it and not want to come, but it’s a good one and they are going to remember. They’re going to remember that that’s their role in their business. And they’re going to hold onto that.

WP: That’s great. I like that, because I

Whole Person reader “Eleanor” asks Robin Sage, Medical Intuitive, about her emotional and physical health issues, which include panic attacks, anxiety and weight gain. These issues turned out to be a variety of spiritual hitchhikers such as a young boy entity and an alien posing as a “cute” baby. Eleanor needed to be released from these energy vampires. Medical Issue: Anxiety, fear, stress, panic attacks, severe weight gain and loss. Patient: Eleanor (pseudo name) Eleanor was a pleasure to work with as she really “heard” what I was saying. When I looked at Eleanor energetically I saw sad energy inside of her that looked like a void. It felt like a feeling of loss, loneliness, emptiness and not being good enough. I also saw a thick band of rubbery unhealthy white energy around her entire aura. E was trying to protect herself with this energy but instead it kept the “bad ones” in and the “good ones” out. Protection must come from inner strength, not a building of walls. I saw a young boy attached to her field. It seems that E was keeping this boy in her energetic body (which is dangerous as it’s not her energy) due to a feeling of loss after having an abortion. I saw that E has a problem with being too nice and not having good boundaries and letting go. Then I saw alien energy in E’s womb (and also around her head) that was pretending to be a child. The alien’s strategy was to keep her from releasing it because it was a cute baby! E commented that she never wanted to have a child and now I know why; she already has a green one!

I also saw that E had a type of rope around her neck. As I pulled it off, her energy suddenly shone and I saw that she had been a grand and powerful empress at one time. This was a miracle because I felt that E had lived in an invisible cage her entire life unable to feel free. When the rope came off, E started transforming into an amazing Empress once again which is the truth of who she is. But because of so many hostile life experiences E shut down during that past life. Part of the reason is because she was persecuted by way of guillotine. This was common with strong women in that era. If they spoke their mind they were often considered witches and persecuted. I think that many women struggle with being “strong” today, as is the case with E. They feel that if they are not always sweet and appeasing that people will think they are bitches. Then they struggle with the guilt of such judgment. This whole issue is causing E’s thyroid to malfunction as a result of the rope, fear, the guillotine and the fear of speaking up. I saw that it is E’s purpose this lifetime to balance her ability to speak up. She said, “Yes! I either blow

my top or don’t say anything!” When E heals this old wound in her throat and fills herself with strength and empowerment she will heal her fear, weight fluctuations and anxiety. But she won’t be able to keep her cool until she learns to feel worthy. When she feels more worthy she will not feel the need to tell someone off and prove herself. If she respects her own boundaries others will respect her too. We always go to extremes when we are looking for balance. We are all worthy of our truth and it doesn’t have to come out sideways once we feel worthy. Another big cause of E’s fear are the aliens that are attached to her. They are attached because she felt that having “someone” in her space made her feel more worthy and important. The main reasons for alien “attachment” is fear and asking for “help” or feeling unworthy. And they usually go together. This is why it’s so important to feel good about one’s self no matter what has happened. By filling up with empowered love (not weak, sticky newagey love) you have no idea how much it can do for you! The minute you begin, negative energies cannot hold on

to you because they thrive on fear. So love really is the answer. But it is a STRONG love where one takes care of oneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s self, sets good boundaries and is not afraid of letting people down. How can you take care of yourself if you are worried about others? We are all children of God and so we much treat ourselves as such. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s energetic law that the outside must reflect the inside. So ALWAYS start from within. This IS your power! I gave Eleanor a healing to remove her alien friends. I also spoke to her of the importance of EMF blockers, crystals and grounding supplies, which can be found on Amazon.com. Aliens are a reality, not a myth, and many are not of the highest good. I donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t know anyone who is not affected by aliens today. It is easiest for them to enter into people who are ungrounded/unhealthy or have a â&#x20AC;&#x153;voidâ&#x20AC;? to be filled, such as in Eâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s case. But once you learn how they attach, you can make changes to prevent or minimize it. lot with law firms and I work a lot with the personality styles of introversion and extroversion. So I go in and I help a law firm. I work with the attorneys, because in today’s world, and it’s been like this for a while, but now it’s really paramount. Every attorney needs to do marketing. But a person who is more on the personality scale of introversion freaks out when you say the word marketing, because they think of that aggressive marketing. And so I remember one time I went to lunch and took a wonderful, wonderful attorney who did wills and trusts. And he was more on the introverted scale. You know -- love him – but when I would come to the office he would look the other way. I worked with him on that. I took him to lunch and I shared a couple of things with him, and he immediately said “Ruth, I am not a rainmaker.” And as you know, a rainmaker in law is kind of the person, the marketing person, who brings in. It’s not one person anymore, but everyone. It’s collaborative. It’s every single company today, everyone is in marketing and how they do it is a little bit different. And how they do it, they’ll be responsible in an ideal world for marketing. But not the aggressive part.

WP: I was at a fast food place to get

a coffee, a tea. And it was interesting. I’m hearing a conversation in the background. I’m hearing, I assume the one who is the manager of things, say to the employees, but in particular, this one young lady, ‘You have to smile, you want to say hello, you want to say good morning.’ And he’s really kind of riding this young lady. ‘And that’s true for you and for you’ at the other employees, ‘It’s not just me.’ Because he’s very gracious. But he’s saying it’s like all of us have to do that. We have to do this in collaboration so that everyone coming through the

RK: Absolutely, that’s why that internal brand is so important, and a lot of businesses don’t understand. ‘How do we create an internal brand?’ That has the employees, the attorneys wanting to do that.

I was teaching, I used to actually tell my students, “If you don’t love your job get the hell out.” We spend so much time, and it’s not about the money. Sure, people like money. Once it is at a certain level, that’s not the driver. It’s this part that’s the driver. So yeah you’re absolutely right.

WP: I have a question, which is a question I ask everybody and that is, are you, Ruth Klein, a whole person?

RK: Yes. WP: I love your responses. I love

your energy. I love how you see businesses. But it’s more than a business application because it’s the way you see people. And that is, you see people in a way that they can be whole by being in their essence.

i th Hal l oween approaching, we’re surrounded by the dark side of the other side. Halloween has nearly surpassed other holidays in terms of chocolate sales and spending in general. However, when we engage in scare fests and ghost tours, it is important to remember that these activities draw in real ghosts, not just ones in costume. One year when I arrived at a friend’s house for her renowned Halloween party, the front yard was a graveyard with a sign proclaiming, “Welcome all ghosts!” Uh oh, that makes for a very crowded party!

A common misconception about the afterlife is that it is a place of instant enlightenment. However, a young man in spirit once told me, “Dying doesn’t make you nice.” In my work as a medium in the early years, I found this to be true.

When I first started venturing into spirit communication as a profession, there were times I was called upon to clear houses of ghosts and bad energy. From apparitions appearing in the corner of an apartment bedroom, to the hauntings of a theatre in Los Angeles, I experienced, the good, the bad and the ugly of the spirit world. After a dramatic episode in which the word “rats” was emblazoned with red welts on my right thigh, I decided to leave ghost busting work behind. This event occurred even after I practiced what I thought was sufficient grounding and protection. From that point on, I decided to work specifically at the frequency of love and communicate messages from loved ones in spirit. I joke and say that I am the GPS to the good neighborhoods on the other side. That being said, even I can become overcome by the presences in haunted places on earth. While visiting Jerome, AZ (a historic mining town) with a fellow medium, we both felt pushed from

behind by spirits of the unfriendly sort. My companion asked, “Should we find out what they want?” “Absolutely not!” I replied emphatically. As we walked into a restaurant to sit down for lunch, I could feel a male presence solidifying above my left shoulder. My friend’s eyes widened and she could barely speak but said, “There’s a man over your shoulder.” At that exact moment, I received all the information I cared to have. He had been stabbed to death in that very town and was still mad about it. I felt the knife enter my belly and his anger fill me to the core. I acknowledged that I understood his problem and called upon spirit guides to help relieve him of his angst. After that encounter we moved to a different table and resumed a lovely lunch.

While walking through the town after lunch I saw a sign which said, “Most Haunted Town in America.” Well, they weren’t kidding. And when a town hangs up a sign like that, it is an invitation to every disenfranchised ghost in the area. When I’m working as a medium, I usually connect with one or two loved ones in spirit at a time. During private sessions we might have scores of spirits visit, but they introduce themselves in an orderly manner. However, there are times

At a small spirit circle one evening, I was overwhelmed by the numbers of spirits filling the room expressing gratitude. One by one, the spirits gave their names. Four of the sitters at the circle were hospice workers and they appreciated hearing from those they helped make a comfortable transition. At a book signing event, my guides caused me to notice a beautiful woman with an angelic face. Those in spirit surrounding her were angels, guides, animals and Native Americans. It was quite an unusual group! As it turns out, she provides angel readings and works with totem animals as a shaman to provide guidance to people on their spiritual journey. A hospice worker is surrounded by spirits offering gratitude. A budding medium is surrounded by spirits wanting to get their messages of love and guidance to others. A ghost hunter is surrounded by a motley crew.

the room. They had recently spent the night in a haunted house. Well, they took more away with them from that experience than a bad night’s sleep. I didn’t get a sense that any of their hangers-on wished them ill, but cautioned them about unprotected ghosting in the future. Being surrounded by spirits who are not our close family and friends isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However, it is always best to choose the spirits we allow into our space and pro-actively set boundaries and protection before engaging in any otherworldly activity. I’m reminded of the admonition at the end of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion tour, “Beware of hitchhiking ghosts.” These days I hang up a sign which says, “Only loving spirits welcomed here.” Hollister Rand provides specific messages from loved ones living in the spirit world. Ancient Knowledge Returns

The last couple months we have been exploring the first of seven short opening mantras that are supernatural shortcuts to pull high divine energy. There are three main universal opening mantras, and four optional ones. Any one of these mantras could be used alone as a powerful meditation for 15 to 45 minutes or more. In this context, you are invited to do these mantras prior to the start of your practice. The first opening prayer is called the Guru mantra that connects you to the highest Guru that lives within you called your soul, then consciously connects you with the enlightened masters and angels that touch your heart including your first teachers-your birth parents, and ultimately God, the Source of all creation to whom I often refer to as the Divine. No meditation, teaching or healing should ever be started without especially the Guru mantra that also fixes the energy in the event you mispronounce a mantra in these divine channels so you pull only positive energy. This month we will explore the second of seven opening mantras called the Ganesh mantra. Today, I will reveal ancient eastern knowledge about Ganesh that has publically been hidden but widely known amongst the highly evolved masters.

In the east, Ganesh is widely known and depicted with the body of a man and head of an elephant. He is the most popular godly soul depicted in India and honored by almost all castes throughout the country. He is a nonsectarian divine soul who Hindus,

Jains, Buddhists, non-religious, saints and avatars beyond all religions continue to recognize. Ganesh bestows divine protection against negativity and removes obstacles. He is invoked at the beginning of meditations, teachings, healings, fire pujas, or at the commencement of any work including important or big projects. Avatar Kaleshwar taught that, “Whenever you’re beginning to do any work, praying to Ganesh gives very, very good symptoms. Even if you can’t remember the Ganesh mantra, simply one time thinking, ‘Hey Trunkman, Oh Ganesh, Oh Ganeshvara, Oh Gananada, Oh Gajavadana, Om Ekadantha, please, I’m doing this work, try to protect me.’ These are all his names.” Honoring Ganesh to invoke protection and remove obstacles is similar to how Catholics honor St. Monica as the angel to overcome alcoholism or how St. Francis Xavier Cabrini is the patron saint of impossible causes, or St. Osmund is the patron saint of paralysis. Ganesh is a highly enlightened man who lived thousands of years ago and was immaculately conceived. Yes, Jesus was not the only one who was im-

maculately conceived; there were more beyond these two too. Ganesh’s mother is Parvati, father is Shiva, and his younger brother is Subramanian. In September, we just celebrated Ganesh’s “birthday”. Let’s hear the original story of how Ganesh came to be known as the iconic elephant-headed angel from Kaleshwar: Story of the Resurrection of Ganesh Mother Divine (Parvati) created a baby with some yellow powder (She immaculately conceived him using turmeric but that is another story). Then she put that baby outside her door when she took a very long shower. At the time, her husband, Shiva was out. He went to meditate, to practice his yogas and enjoy the deep silence. Outside her door, her boy Ganesh had to protect her so that no one could get into the house in Mt. Kailash. He carried a small knife and walked back and forth so that no one could get in. Once Shiva finished his meditation, he came to the house, saw the boy guarding the door and became confused and wondered, ‘Why is this boy stopping me?’. Ganesh said, “No, my Mother doesn’t allow anybody to go inside the house.” Shiva became completely angry (even enlightened masters have blocks to overcome too) and thought to himself, ‘Hey, how did my wife have a child without me? I haven’t been in the house for a while, so how could she have a child?’ He was under the huge illusion. He could not recognize that it was possible she could create a child without him. Then he started to argue with the boy, “Hey kid, I’m your father. If she’s your mother, I’m your father. Believe me, I’m her husband. Please let me in.” Ganesh said, “No! She’s in the shower. She’s peaceful; don’t disturb her. That’s her order. I don’t care who you are.” He was really arguing, arguing, endlessly arguing. Finally, Shiva got very angry. He used his triangle (trishula) to cut Ganesh’s head off. Nobody could kill him except Shiva because he knew her energy because they were always together as Shiva and Shakti. When the boy’s head was gone, his body shouted, “Hey Mother protect me!” Then she woke up from Her deepest relaxation in the water.

She came out seeing her boy, “You killed my baby! You have to give me back my baby!” But there was no chance. Once Shiva used his high frequency energy, then he could not get it back again to fix it. From that experience, kandhana yoga (one of the yogas of resurrecting the dead) was born (this is same yoga Mother Mary used to help resurrect Jesus Christ). She kept on crying but he could not fix it because he already used his high peak energy at the time he cut his head off. There was no more energy. She also could not fix it because she put her energy into creating the child. No energy was left; there was no chance to fix it. Then Shiva ordered his students, “Go find whatever head is sleeping to (facing) the north, cut that head and bring it and we can do some process to make it come alive.” Shiva’s students went looking for any head they saw sleeping towards the north (meaning head in the south). They found it, cut the head and brought it to Shiva. But Shiva did not mention it had to be a human head (this is an important lesson to be absolutely specific in your intention). Shiva’s wife was so upset, “To my beautiful boy you’re fixing with this elephant’s head?” Then Shiva gave a boon, “I’m so sorry, forgive me for this mistake. To the spiritual kingdom, when anybody’s going to do pujas, your son Ganesh will receive the first credit. He’s the Vighneshvara”. Then Brahma, Vishnu, the rishis, they all put their energies together into Ganesh. The boy woke up with an elephant trunk. That is Ganesh. So, Ganesh was born very interestingly. He was created with the energy of amazing souls. Every person on the planet—the Maharshis, including Mahakali (backside of Jesus that can handle any negativity) gave their energy to Ganesh. He was the only soul until then who received all forms of the Divine in him. Benefits of Ganesh Mantra • When hearfully saying the Ganesh mantra, you are calling in the angel Ganesh and you are going through him to break the negativity and remove the obstacles to get control of the creation that is compromised of the five elements: earth, fire, sky, water, air. • In spirituality, when you’re trying to understand the supernatural, many il-

lusions will come. It’s easy to get stuck. Whenever the illusion is running, try to pull and receive the protection circles from this angel Ganesh by calling on him through saying this mantra. Still, sometimes I’m under confusion and I call on Ganesh, and say, “Hey, give me the clarity. Give me the clarity”. • Vaastu tip: Having a Ganesh statue or image at your door or the entrance to your home or in front of your garden where people see it will automatically wash out and suck the negativity from whoever is coming to visit in your house, before they ever walk in the home. Whatever the obstacles are coming, whatever negativity is coming, please you have to remove it with your huge trunk to protect me.” Then watch and see the results.

There is something about the butterfly that seems to inspire us. No doubt we’ve all experienced the mesmerizing awe felt at the sight of its captivating beauty and grace as it gently floats by. These beautiful and magnificently colored creatures have a near magical quality to them. Delicate and surreal, they move through vast landscapes as if dancing on air. More than just captivating our hearts and imagination, the butterfly has also become one of the most profound and enduring symbols of change and self transformation. It’s journey and metamorphosis from humble earthbound caterpillar to winged beauty with the gift of flight, carries powerful meaning that speaks to our own capacity to move

through different life cycles, mirroring our own journeys of regeneration, renewal, expansion and rebirth. Like a metaphor for profound change in the cycles of our lives, moving from one state, perspective, or lifestyle to another, the butterfly’s remarkable shape shifting journey carries an important message for us to seek out and find our true essence, no matter how far removed it may be from our present selves. It’s an inspiring message that teaches us that growth and transformation need not be traumatic or painful, but rather liberating and joyful, a natural part of life’s continuous unfolding. We’ve all heard the saying “the only constant is change”, and embracing change, whether that change is external or part of our

Sometimes the change that we experience is deliberately sought, coming gradually as simply a matter of due course. Sometimes it’s not, and we find it suddenly and inexplicably forced directly upon us. However all change can be a powerful force for growth and transformation. The key is not fearing or fighting against it, but rather seeing it as a tool that empowers us to release the old and give way to the new, a natural cycle in our greater life experience. When an ending comes knocking, we need not fear it, knowing that as each cycle ends, an entirely new cycle is beginning. How we relate to these changing cycles in life, whether positively with positive passion™ and integrity or negatively with hardship, struggle or abuse, all depends on our inner connection and whether we gain clarity on what that change represents in our lives. Quite frequently, we are not so

In the larger grand cycles of our lives, sometimes it’s the small, seemingly random acts or moments that later prove to be monumental, creating ripples downstream that close out personal chapters and set us off in entirely new directions. In science it’s called the “butterfly effect,” the concept that small events can have large, widespread consequences. The name stems from MIT meteorologist Edward Lorenz, whose suggestion that a massive storm in one part of the world might actually have its roots in the faraway flapping of a tiny butterfly’s wings in yet another. It’s a deceptively simple insight that resonates deeply with most of us. In his 1972 paper, “Predictability: Does the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil Set Off a Tornado in Texas?”, Lorenz documents how during his research on global weather phenomena using an early computer program to simulate weather, he one day made the tiniest most seemingly insignificant alteration in atmospheric conditions that utterly transformed his long-term global forecast in the most dramatic way.

His scientific discovery also speaks to a more philosophical one, demonstrating the innumerable interconnections that not only shape nature, but each of our lives as well.

certain. In the cocoon of our thoughts-- fears, doubts, regrets, and a host of other emotions-- may be extremely limiting, holding us back from our ability to change and grow. Even if they no longer serve us, our limiting beliefs hold us captive in a place that’s safe and familiar, making us cling to where we are, rather than embracing change and completing the cycle. When we find ourselves in that place between no longer and not yet-- it takes the utmost courage to spread our wings and simply fly.

If a butterfly’s flap could cause a tornado - or for all we know, could prevent one as well-- similarly, should we make even the smallest of changes in our lives, or take action--or not--as we move through the constant and ever present cycles in life, we will never know how much these seemingly insignificant moments contribute to altering who we are and shaping our own personal destinies. It’s yet another profound metaphor for the constant threads of cause and effect in life that sometimes appear obvious in retrospect, but remain elusive and obscure in the moment. In life there are no absolute certainties. The only thing certain is that gracefully transitioning through the life cycles requires courage and trust. As it emerges from the depths of its cocoon, no more than you does a butterfly know whether it can fly, but it opens its wings in perfect confidence and simply takes flight. October, the beautiful season of Fall has arrived bringing with it new looks in Mother Nature, new weather conditions and new life styles for we humans as we begin our nesting for the next several months.

This tenth month of the calendar year has all the energies of a compound Number. Not only does Ten carry the qualities of One but the Zero “super charges” One which adds intensity. Metaphorically, the Zero is like a Delco battery sitting on a store shelf full of force and power. It is not until the battery is connected to the motor in a car, for example or some mechanical device, that it really literally gets its “motor going”! The ancients believed that the Zero symbolized eternity, wholeness, oneness equaling the power of God. In my personal experience, what brings all of us even further along the path of strengthening and improving and expanding our gifts, talents and abilities in this realm is to recognize that the more ‘in alignment’ we are with pure love and unconditional acceptance, the better we are at being of service to support the change in the world and in others that we want to see and experience.

I have been following your teachings on Animal Communication and practicing with the tools and techniques you teach. Recently, I did an animal communication session with an animal who was severely neglected, though not abused, by his human guardian. The guardian loved him, but just didn’t have any time to walk him, play with him, love him or even feed him correctly, let alone take him to the vet for proper care. This brought up extreme anger, rage and sadness in me. How do we as developing animal communicators deal with the people who ‘guard’ the animals so irresponsibly? How do we adjust to their sometimes cruel, inhumane and neglectful treatment of their own pets? Thank you for your guidance on this. Sincerely, Jennifer

Nonetheless, the emotions, the concern are real and valid and cannot be ignored. So, what’s a loving animal communicator to do? First, honor yourself, your feelings and your process as part of the natural human experience.

Decoding an Out of Body Experience By Beverly Russell, Ph.D

A: I got hold of the squirrel, walked down the stairs again. This time I opened the front door, and put the squirrel outside and shut the door. Climbed the stairs and went back to bed.

That was the end of this experience. Apparently I went back to sleep and slept normally until daylight came and the usual time to wake up. But I had a very real, and startling memory of what happened. I was totally shocked that I had this kind of Out of Body Experience and I began to think about it.

I tried to think further and then another memory came back to me. The setting for the OBE was in a lakeside lodge in Michigan, where I had stayed almost 20 years ago. The stairway was exactly the style I remembered in the lodge. The other connection that came to me was that one of the women was from Chicago and had visited the lodge. She was a Mid-West person. So suddenly I had a stronger, authentic vision of what the experience was telling me.
