Chamber helps build strong local economy at Shop Local Showcase event 2nd annual community expo to feature local businesses and entertainment; free and open to the public
2nd Annual
SHOWCASE Community & Business Expo
In an effort to highlight local businesses and the value of keeping sales tax dollars in our own community, the Whittier Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2nd Annual Shop Local Showcase Community and Business Expo. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Whittwood Town Center. All are invited to stroll through this free outdoor table-top expo and network with businesses from both the Chamber and the Whittwood Town Center. “The Shop Local Showcase is a perfect venue to brand your business to the community while promoting your goods and services,” says Chamber
Board member and event chair Carolyn Reggio of CAPC, Inc. “Spending your tax dollars locally helps keep our economy strong and our community thriving which is exactly what the Chamber exists to do,” added Chamber Board President Bonnie Watje from ACRO Printing, Inc. The Whittwood Town Center, with its ample parking, central location, awesome food court and fabulous shops, is the perfect location for the Shop Local Showcase. The event is set to take place in the parking lot between Sears, Kohls and 24 Hr. Fitness. Visit these local businesses, restaurants and organizations that have already committed to participate:
