OUR MEMBERSHIP MIGRATION OFFICER David Archer, of Howley Lodge No 5012, is the Province’s newly appointed Membership Migration Officer. Yorkshire, West Riding, in line with other Provinces nationwide, are keen to assist Brethren, either moving in or out of the Province, to find a new Lodge after their relocation, should they wish to do so. When David is aware that a Brother is relocating to another part of the country, he informs the MMO of the receiving Province who will then contact the Brother concerned to offer assistance in finding a new Lodge to attend. Similarly, W Bro Archer is contacted by MMO’s throughout the country when Brethren move into this Province. He then suggests to Secretaries of Lodges near to where the incoming brother is locating, that they may wish to invite him along to one of their Lodge Meetings to help the Brother find a Lodge best suited to his circumstances. David also contacts Brethren who have resigned from their Lodges, asking them to complete a short questionnaire

Often resignations are health or age related but, where appropriate, Brethren can be offered support in finding a new Lodge, either in this Province or further afield. It would assist David if he is contacted directly by Brethren who are leaving the Province, or by Lodge Secretaries who are aware of an imminent move. YOUNG CRICKETERS BOWLED OVER The Junior section of Honley Cricket Club are able to hone their skills, thanks to a donation from the PGM’s Fund.
