MODified active vintagewear by polymath

Don’t let vintage box you in. You don’t have to look like a Victorian chap, 50s Pin Up or a Solid Gold dancer. Polymath is a new hybrid of vintage: updated, upfashioned and modified ... for a retro, but relaxed, style. Vintage garments and fabrics—including iconic prints, patterns, bold colors and graphics from the 60s, 70s and 80s—are repurposed into one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories. Edited. Revamped. Revitalized. Right-sized ... for extended play and reimagined style. Saved from the dustbin. Altered for modern use. Recycled. Updated.

why?

MODified active vintagewear by polymath

For a purpose ... While the colorful, bold graphics of the 60s, 70s and 80s (especially 70s polyester) are Polymath’s inspiration, its purpose is in its name:

poly (“many”) + math (“learn”) = a person of great or varied learning; a Renaissance Man or Woman

Polymath is a social enterprise deigned to create sustainable fashion; provide local living-wage-equivalent piece work; support a local learning initiative through a percentage of annual sales; and promote polymathism as a tool and catalyst to a 21st century re-enlightenment for a more just and sustainable future.
