The images in this collection where created over a period of time and were not originally intended as a series, let alone a zine but here they are.
The earliest dates to 2008 and the most recent was created in 2020. All of them however feature water; representing my “happy place”. Time spent by a river, alongside a lake or strolling on the seashore is always a relaxing and peaceful place for me. I am at peace alongside water, calm and relaxed - even when the camera is playing up!
This is a mix of digital images and more traditionally created images using film and chemicals. Whatever the medium however it is all my own work and I put the same care into each and every one. I have always shot with film although by the beginning of 2019 this accounted for less than 5% of my output. By the start of 2020 however this had totally flipped and now 95% of my photography is created using film and traditional methods, including darkroom prints.
