MARCH 2 TO 8 2020 WHEELCHAIR RUGBY INVITATIONAL & 2020 IWRF PARALYMPIC QUALIFICATION EVENT Richmond Olympic Oval, 6111 River Road The Vancouver Invitational is one of the most exciting tournaments on the West Coast and has been a longstanding pillar for wheelchair rugby in the Pacific Northwest. For fans, it’s one of the few opportunities to see some of the best quad athletes in the world play the fastpaced sport poetically named Murderball. For some players, it’s an

opportunity to compete and train among the best in the world. For veterans, it’s training ground for the World Championships and the Olympics. APRIL 12 EASTER BUNNY YOGA Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm Sunberry Fitness, 9111 Beckwith Rd, #1040 Bunny Yoga is an easy flow/ yin yoga class with bunnies roaming around you. They are free to choose humans they like and roam the space while you practice yoga.

The yoga sequences are put together to be bunfriendly and to encourage bunny-human interaction.

This class is beginner and children friendly (6 years or older); you get to hang out with the bunnies after class.

You’re welcome to bring phone or camera to take lots of photos. The class is fundraiser for local rabbit rescue and shelter Bandaids for Bunnies. All participating rabbits are rescued animals. FROM CHRONIC FATIGUE TO FULL WELLNESS IN 2 MONTHS I was fit and healthy. 20 years of age studying engineering when I got ill with glandular fever.

My energy was completely gone, and I didn’t know what was wrong. Eventually after much testing, I was diagnosed with M.E / CFS. I was relieved at first to finally have a diagnosis but then my hopes were dashed when I heard that there was no set medical treatment and that I might not ever be able to recover.

CFS was horrendous. I felt like my life had ended, that I had no future and every present moment was hell. The symptoms were extreme. The most crushing fatigue, it felt like the worst virus and hangover combined every day.

My symptoms included, constant fatigue, painful muscles, brain fog, IBS, insomnia, very low immune function, swollen glands, POTS, low blood flow with frozen feet, dizziness, chemical sensitivity, night sweats, frequent headaches, anxiety and secondary depression as a result of being so ill for 11 years. At my worst I was bed bound for months on end and only walking for 2 minutes a day. On my 31st birthday I decided I totally had enough. I was going to do whatever it took to heal, and I was prepared to do anything.

I spent 2 weeks researching exactly what people had done to fully heal. I found remarkable recovery stories from people who had done The Lightning Process. Since I was willing to do anything to heal and so many people had completely healed using this process, I decided to do it.

It was the last thing I did and the best thing I ever did to heal. So much so that I decided to train with the inventor of the process in central London. I spent 18 months flying back and forth to UK to become an LP practitioner.

What Should You Know About the 2020 BC Property Assessment?

BC Property Assessments have been sent in the mail for about two million homeowners in British Columbia. And as expected, properties in the Lower Mainland have seen a substantial dip in the values, which according to BC Assessment, is the first time in the last 20 years that BC’s total property assessment values have gone down.

The biggest drop in property values can be seen in detached homes in West Vancouver and UBC areas (- 16%), followed by detached homes in Richmond (-14%), and then Vancouver, Coquitlam and North Vancouver detached homes (-11%).
