Natural and Beautiful That’s Me Natural and Beautiful, That is Me. I t took a little time, for me to see, That what God gave me, I must, let it be. Some might ask, who really cares, how you wear, your hair. Well you see, one day as I sat in my hairdresser’s chair Ready for the touch up of my relaxed hair, I wanted it to remain easy to manage. However, I had a revelation that I was causing my natural hair, unneeded damage. Then I recalled the time, when I was a tender young girl. My grandmother gave me some words; I now call granny’s pearls. She said to me, “Your natural hair is beautiful girl”! “Let what the good Lord gave you, be”! Tell your self, I am Natural and beautiful, that’s me. I replied to my granny, How can you say that when my curls are so tight, She then said to me, “one day my precious, you will, see the light”. Now many years later, and my granny is gone, I now see she was right and I was wrong. I wear my hair natural and the light, I finally see. Natural and Beautiful, That’s Me. © by Evangelist Janice O. St Lucia is one of the most beautiful islands of the Caribbean basin with its breathtaking natural resources such as the emerald green covered Piton Mountains, dense bird- filled rainforests and mind blowing waterfalls. Most tourists end up in the
northern area of the island near the capital city, Castries. Rodney Bay, Cap Estate and Gros Islet
are home to some of the most sought after luxury resorts in the world, where celebrities are frequently spotted winding to some good reggae, Soca or calypso music. But you don't have to be a celebrity to enjoy the luxuries of this exceptional vacation spot. Some truly hidden gems that will not pinch your pocketbook can be found in the south of the island.
One thing to keep in mind, unlike some of the other Caribbean islands, this island is not known for a lively night scene, except on weekends.
Try the Villa Caribbean Dream in Vieux Fort which offers rates as low as $45 (single) or $55 (double) per night. Included is a stunning view of the ocean and/or a Salsa lesson or two. Just
minutes from the Hewanorra International Airport are The Reef Beach Huts and CafĂŠ. Rates are only $50 (single) and $60 (double) and this includes breakfast on the beach.

Dear Dr. Jan …… Dear Dr. Jan , My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. We use to be really romantic, holding hands, lovey dovey. But here recently we have gotten stuck in a routine. We hardly are intimate.
We hardly kiss. We spend time together but it is so cold and non affectionate. I am not happy with how things are going but what can I do to help this marriage not die. Frustrated
I applaud you for staying married for 20 years. Sometimes marriages can go a little unappreciated. You u and your hubby need to find your ways back to the spark that brought you to together in the first place. You both need to rekindle your romance. You will need to work at it every day. Find ways to be extra sweet to each other. Do things to break the routine in your life. Do things that you don’t normally do be more spontaneous. We wish you much success in your marriage. Hope you have another 60 more.
Dear Dr Jan
What is a single mother to do? I have two young sons but I don’t have any help with them. Their father is incarcerated so I do not have any help from him or his family. I should not have to go to the system for help. I work every day but it seems to be getting worse and worse. I am so frustrated that I have even thought of giving my children up for adoption. I am at the end of my rope. Please help me? End of Rope
Dear End of Rope, Please seek some assistance from the town that you live in. If you belong to a local church
please speak with your Pastor or church counselor. You do not have to feel so alone in your situation. Speak to the social worker at your son’s school for direction to receive assistance. You are entitled to receive assistance when you are in need.

Movie Reviews by CJ
Ok here goes I was really impressed by all the movies that have been released this season there is something for everyone. On today's list we have my most liked of all the
ones I've seen The Help which was absolutely heart warming and real. I know that when we watch this movie we don't want to associate it with scenarios that may have actually taken place in the late 1950's to late 60's. The Help hits so close to home for the African American public because the stories told in the movie we've heard our grandparents and for some of us our parents retail. For some of us we are inspired to change the world and all it takes is for just one of us to reach deep within and grab hold to our faith and the courage God gives us to say I'm going to be the one that takes a stand. I loved this movie
and I encourage everyone to go and see it.
Also on today's list is Conan the Barbarian. I must say this one was against my better judgment however I was intrigued by the eye candy Jason Momoa. I didn't care so much for the plot because it was so typical and unimaginative however I did appreciate his candor and rude but gentlemen like qualities. I wanted more depth leading up to the ultimate revenge he was granted for the horrible wrong done to him. Maybe next time ok movie however I would wait for the red box debut.
