NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION To apply: 1. Secure an advisor. Must be a *FULL-TIME* faculty or staff member. 2. Secure three (3) students who are in good standing with the University and have a minimum GPA of 2.0. 3. Click here to create a JagSync (OrgSync) account. 4. In JagSync, select Organizations, then click the “Register a New Organization” button to complete the online registration/recognition process. The application will require the following:        

PRE-EXISTING ORGANIZATION THAT IS NOT ACTIVE FOR FALL 2013 To begin the process, email sorc@unt.edu to request portal access. To apply: (log into JagSync, then go to your organization settings) 1. Change the date of the application to the current date. 2. Update Organization Profile (found in the bottom left corner of administer screen). 3. Review your constitution; ensure it aligns with UNTD Student Organization Policy and Code of Conduct. 4. Review and modify Total Organizational Membership for 2013-2014. 5. Update President’s name and contact info (be sure email address is accurate). 6. Update Advisor’s name and contact info. 7. Read over UNTD policy on Hazing. 8. Read over UNTD’s Non-Discrimination policy. 9. Read over UNTD’s Alcohol & Illegal Drugs Policy 10. Read over UNTD’s Fundraising Policy 11. Read over the Banking and Financial Obligations Policy 12. Writing Center Writing Across the Curriculum Professional Development Symposium!

This two-day event will feature Harry Denny, author, speaker, and director of the St. John’s University Writing Center in Long Island, New York, in an interactive symposium on developing academic literacy in a diverse context. Topics of discussion will include:
