Super heroes inspiring kids to get active WHAT happens when Marvel’s Super Heroes, The Avengers, combine forces with a group of fitness legends, Les Mills? Millions of children get inspired to “Move Like The Avengers”. A specially created five-minute workout for kids, “Move Like The Avengers” is the product of a unique partnership between Marvel and global fitness experts Les Mills. Based on Les Mills’ groundbreaking BORN TO MOVE™ children’s workouts, it features Marvel characters Thor and Black Widow leading a fully choreographed exercise routine that will have kids sweating and smiling in equal measure. Timed for the release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, which is in cinemas from April 26, “Move Like The Avengers” is designed specifically for children aged eight to 12. An action-packed combat workout featuring international fitness leaders Diana Archer Mills and Bas Hollander, it combines live action with music and animated Marvel graphics that take exercise to the next level. “The music and moves have been carefully choreographed, but getting active and having fun is the number

one priority,” said co-presenter and Les Mills creative director Diana Archer Mills. “It is guaranteed to be an uplifting experience – children can enjoy the thrill of mastering new skills, and as a result their confidence grows, and it fuels their appetite to learn more.” Helping young people to fall in love with fitness is the main goal of BORN TO MOVE. By harnessing the proven appeal of Marvel’s Avengers characters the free workout will appeal not only to kids themselves, but to parents and teachers wanting to inspire and motivate their families and classrooms. By bringing entertainment and exercise together in one easyto-follow video the aim is to demonstrate that fitness can be fun, and having fun can get you fit. “Being active and fit benefits everyone in many ways, but it also gives children the confidence to say ‘I can’ – and this is what inspires me,” added BORN TO MOVE creative director, Janine Phillips. “I love giving children the opportunity to realise their potential through physical activity, and Move Like The Avengers really delivers on that.”
