End-of-Year Request

As we move towards the Holiday season, we are especially mindful of all those in our community who are continually struggling to make ends meet. Often suffering from a lack of food, housing, healthcare and education they rely on the generosity of people like us to provide some good cheer especially for their them and their families at this important time of the year. We are of course most grateful to those members who have already contributed to the Wexford Foundation and also for the very generous McEvoy Challenge of matching new donor contributions to a total of $50,000. However, there are still many Wexford members who do not currently support our Foundation and it’s not too late to help us make a difference to more of those families in our community who would really benefit from our help. Our all-volunteer board of Wexford Trustees and committee members and in particular our Grants Committee ensure that our expenses are minimal and that 97 cents in every dollar raised goes to those charities where our impact is most needed. Once again, you are helping us to demonstrate just how much Wexford cares for those less fortunate than ourselves. Foundation honored by Second Helpings

The Wexford Foundation was selected as Second Helpings’ Supporter of the Year for its long-standing financial support of the non-profit, including the purchase of a new refrigerated van in 2022.

Second Helpings has recognized two partners with its top awards. The Wexford Foundation is the 2022 recipient of the Supporter of the Year award. Waterfall Farm is the winner of Food Donor of the Year honors.

The Wexford Foundation was selected as Supporter of the Year for its long-standing financial support of Second Helpings, including the purchase of a new refrigerated van in 2022. The Wexford Foundation is dedicated to providing financial and volunteer resources to other local non-profit organizations that provide social services for humanitarian needs. Since 2012, this nonprofit has awarded over $2 million to local charities serving Hilton Head Island and the surrounding area.
