Hello Neighbors,

As we approach the holidays and end of another year, we have much going on in our community as members and staff alike prepare to host, and enjoy festive times with, our families and friends. Let me start by welcoming our new General Manager Patrick McGuire and his family to Wexford. We are pleased that Patrick was able to join us onsite in November to spend time with and introduce himself to the Wexford team during their quarterly employee meeting. He begins work on a full-time basis on December 5th and will speak to our members at our 2022 Annual Meeting on December 9th. Please introduce yourself and welcome him warmly and help him get to know our Wexford members. To assist Patrick in acclimating to Wexford, Craig Martin, interim GM, will be working with him and our senior managers throughout the month of December. Craig has been highly instrumental in bringing his own energy, enthusiasm, and steadiness to Wexford since mid-summer. Thank you, Craig, for your sincerity, professionalism, and contributions while at Wexford. You have greatly helped us move ahead in a positive way! Our senior managers’ leadership has been such a strength in our transition success this year, and I can’t thank them enough for their time, insight, and execution. Our employee engagement survey results were exceptional, exceeding benchmark data from our survey partner, Club Benchmarking. The support and teamwork identified in the report is a credit to all Wexford staff

and the ‘team first’ attitude they bring to work every day. The plan is to conduct employee and member surveys annually to learn where we can improve and focus resources on membership and staff interests. In keeping with longstanding tradition, Wexford members once again contributed solidly to the Employee Holiday Fund to provide staff with holiday bonuses at a time when most helpful. The Holiday Fund is provided to eligible staff employees, excluding department managers, and is distributed in midVince Sullivan December. On behalf of the Board and our employees, President thanks to all Wexford members for your generosity and contributions! Our staff appreciate your kindness. I want to extend a special thanks to all committee volunteers for their time and input. We had a record number of applicants this year to serve on our 13 committees. I’m so thankful for their time and work. It was fun hosting both Welcome and Year-end thankyou “Happy Hour” events this year for all committee members to show Wexford’s appreciation for your involvement. Lastly three of us have completed our Board term including Sue MacCormack, Bill Busch and myself. My deepest appreciation goes to Bill and Sue for their time and thoughtfulness in fulfilling their civic volunteer role. While faced with the challenges of Covid, the dynamics of management transitions, and the welcoming of a record number of new Wexford members to our community, your support in working for the greater good of Wexford was most valued. Thanks to all Wexford members and staff for making Wexford the premiere place to live and work on Hilton Head. Have a safe, healthy, and fun holiday!

Sincerely, Vince
