Water and Oil Sensitive Paper These specially coated papers are used for evaluating spray distributions, swath widths, droplet densities and penetration of spray. Water sensitive paper is yellow and is stained blue by exposure to aqueous spray droplets. White oil sensitive paper turns black in areas exposed to oil droplets. The jacknife case allows more precise wind speed and temperature measurements because the users hand is distant from the wind impeller and temperature sensor, to measure undisturbed air flow. Skymate is water resistant and has a high-visibility case. For the most precise measurements, it can be used with the optional wind tunnel, Model SM-WT; or tripod mounted using the optional tripod mounting fixture. The SM-18 wind meter is designed with a wind speed accuracy of better than +/- 3% and includes a 2-Year warranty. WM-300 The WM-300 is a comprehensive instrument for agriculture, forestry, emergency management and other industry professionals. In addition to relative humidity, the unit measures dew point, wet bulb, Delta T, temperature & wind chill. It has a USA-made fluxgate compass for precise digital wind direction measurement, and it can also be used to calculate crosswind, head/tail wind readings. Unlike a traditional compass, the WM300 reads when held vertically and can be used to take a bearing on a distant landmark or reference location. The WM-300 includes the Accuweather patented Comfort Index, which is the effect of temperature, wind speed, relative humidity and sun intensity on the human body for a superior human based reference to Heat Index.
