GCC’s Forum Players present The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse in the Stuart Steiner Theatre on November 16, 17, 18 at 7:30 p.m. and November 19 at 2 p.m. The play is approximately 90 minutes long. In this hilariously funny satirical play, positive intentions collide with absurd assumptions. As a terminally “woke” teacher, Logan, a high school drama teacher/actor, enlists the help of some interesting characters – Caden, an elementary school history teacher (frustrated, aspiring playwright and actor); Jaxton, a yoga practitioner/actor (politically correct to a fault); and Alicia, a simplistic actress (who has a knack for being painfully honest) – to create a school pageant for children that somehow celebrates Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month, or do they? Find out when you take the journey that is The Thanksgiving Play. Larissa FastHorse (Sicangu Lakota Nation) is a 2020 MacArthur Fellow, award-winning writer/choreographer, and co-founder of Indigenous Direction, the nation’s leading consulting company for Indigenous arts and audiences. Her satirical comedy, The Thanksgiving Play (Playwrights Horizons/Geffen Playhouse), is one of America’s top ten most produced plays. She is the first Native American playwright in American theater history on that list. The play recently had a short run on Broadway, being the “critics pick” in the New York Times.
Director Jaime Arena wanted to approach this play with compassion for the Native American tribes and their history. She didn’t want to lose the satirical aspect, while wanting to give voice to those at the center of the story. Jaime enlisted Karlie Jones, who is Cayuga, to help. Jones said, “Director Jaime Arena and I have been longtime friends since 2005, and she asked for my input/direction on this piece. Not much is needed to give – Larissa FastHorse hits all the right notes, showcasing a “woke” society wanting to help minority groups in the best way possible and navigating their way to the best answer. Giving space for us to be heard and proving appreciation without appropriation is possible. The conversation of our cultural stereotypes must be heard; this play gives us a chance to voice the current climate of our Indigenous struggles.” Be advised that the play includes moments depicting historical violence. Spencerport HS presenting Disney’s Freaky Friday The Spencerport High School STAGE Drama Club’s presentation of Disney’s Freaky Friday is just around the corner. The musical stars Hannah Taylor and Emma Nowak as the mother/ daughter duo who, through a twist in the hourglass, trade bodies for just one day. This mind-swapping musical is anchored by over a dozen senior cast, crew, and pit band members. The cast also includes 16 students from the newly-offered drama elective, Theatre Project, which offers students the opportunity to earn credit while learning about, participating in, and experiencing theatre. Taylor and Nowak will use their previous fall musical experiences to take on the Freaky Friday challenge. Both actors play two roles; their main character as well as their counterpart trapped in the body of their main character. They will do this without the aid of major costume or makeup changes. “It’s crazy playing a middle-aged woman with a teenager in her body,” said Taylor “We have to use body language to practice switching from being a prim and proper mom to a slouchy teenager.” “Tone is also very important,” said Nowak. “Making sure to sound like a mom yelling at her kid, while looking like a kid yelling at her mom.” Seniors Allison Montrois and Hannah Conroy-Rockell are also stepping out of their comfort zones in their roles as the antagonists. “I play the intense gym teacher,” said Conroy-Rockell. “She’s always
yelling. I get to be more energetic than I’ve ever been in a show. I need to be in-your-face the entire time. I’m very excited to see how far I can go with that.” “I play Savannah. She’s the main mean girl,” said Montrois. “I am so excited because I’m not mean, ever, but now I get to act mean. I like that Savannah is mean but she’s also smart. She’s not a stereotypical villain.” The intensity of this musical extends beyond the spotlights. Students also work behind the scenes on costumes, lighting, special effects, scenery, props as well as providing live music for the show. “I have to play a lot of different pieces,” said alto and tenor saxophone player, Jamie Glozer. Several members of the pit band will play multiple instruments, sometimes switching in the middle of a song. “It can be a bit of a challenge getting all the parts down, but it’s fun music. I like it a lot.” “I decided to work on costuming through the Theatre Project class,” said Meaghan Slingerland. “I helped with costuming a little last year and with the middle school play, too. It’s really cool to put the costume pieces together.” Meaghan’s favorite costume for Freaky Friday is her own teacher costume which includes prosthetics. “This is my second year working on the crew,” said senior Mya Trainer who participated in tenth grade but not in eleventh. “I missed the atmosphere and the people. This is my community. I can be me and be completely covered in paint and it’s just fun.”

Presentation on graves of literary figures In 1982 an aspiring poet named Steven Huff moved to Brockport and took a job at Lift Bridge Book Shop. On Thursday, November 16 – with two story collections, three books of poetry and a career as editor of several publishing houses under his belt – Huff will return to Brockport to discuss his latest title, Resting Among Us: Authors’ Gravesites in Upstate New York. His presentation is organized by the Brockport Community Museum and will take place at the Morgan-Manning House on Main Street at 7 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Huff says his concept for the book started when he was surprised to

learn one of his literary heroes who spent much of his adult life overseas was buried in the sleepy Finger Lakes hamlet of Lakemont. The discovery sparked a five-year quest to track other authors across New York. The quest became a blog that eventually became the book, published by Syracuse Press in October. “The whole journey was full of surprises,” Huff said. In his introduction Huff describes Resting Among Us as “A travelogue for literary pilgrims.” The chapters are arranged by various locales across Upstate New York, each with one or several authors interred locally. For each place, Huff weaves his extensive personal experience living and traveling throughout the state with historical and biographical details of the writers he profiles. Some of the authors are highly recognizable, such as James Fenimore Cooper, Washington Irving and Mark Twain, but Huff hopes readers will also discover forgotten or lesserknown writers who nonetheless made important contributions to the nation’s literary landscape. In Brockport, for instance, Mary Jane Holmes was perhaps the most popular female novelist in America during the years leading up to and following the Civil War, and is buried under an ornate, Celtic Cross-style
Kozireski’s years of service honored with SUNY Brockport’s annual volunteer award SUNY Brockport announced Warren “Koz” Kozireski ’82/’95 as the recipient of the 2023 Jeanette D’Agostino Banker Volunteer of the Year Award over Homecoming & Family Weekend. For more than 34 years, Kozireski has served as a faculty member in the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting & Public Relations, and as the station manager of 89.1 WBSU The Point. He has guided countless students to successful careers within radio, television, and print journalism. The two-time alumnus was the longest serving President of Brockport’s Alumni Association Board. He led the association for eight years from 2008 to 2016, which coincided with Brockport’s first comprehensive campaign. Kozireski’s efforts were previously recognized with the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service, and the Joel Willer Award from College Broadcasters, Inc. The Jeanette D’Agostino Banker Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes the efforts of a person or a couple who has made a long-standing commitment to the mission of the Brockport Foundation. Older adults recognized for their volunteer efforts and civic contributions The New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) recently honored over 90 older adults for their volunteerism as part of NYSOFA’s annual Older New Yorkers’ Day celebration presented during a November 3 livestream. Awardees were nominated by New York’s 59 county Offices for the Aging and their partners who identified older adults making substantial contributions in their communities through volunteering and civic engagement. Local award recipients were Richard Cotten of Ogden, Dee Wake of Hilton, and Barbara Filipiak of Medina.
Richard Cotten
Richard Cotten’s journey at the Ogden Senior Center began as a volunteer, but his contributions have grown far beyond that initial role. As a volunteer, Cotten assists in setting up lunch trays, ensuring that those with mobility challenges receive their meals, and he takes responsibility for maintaining wellstocked bathrooms. He brings joy to members of the center by providing sweet treats twice a week. He warmly welcomes new older adults to the center, fostering an inclusive and inviting atmosphere with a keen ability to discern people’s needs. Born in New York, Cotten has spent a total of 62 years in the state. He resided in Florida for 18 years but returned home to be closer to family. Cotten stresses the importance of active listening and fostering respect, care, and kindness in one’s interactions with others.

Dee Wake, an enthusiastic presence at her senior center, has a profound love for community engagement and staying active. Her commitment to keeping others informed is evident through her meticulously maintained binder containing newsletters and monthly menus, serving as a valuable resource for both newcomers and all visitors to the center. Currently, Wake holds pivotal roles as a member of the senior center’s Site Council and the Project Council for the Monroe County Office for the Aging. Additionally, her active involvement extends to orchestrating weekly Tuesday Bingo sessions. Wake’s roots in Hilton, where she was born and raised, are complemented by her passion for genealogy and ancestry research. She takes pride in the care of her family’s gravesites at the local cemetery. In her leisure time, Wake finds joy in horses and indulging in crafting pursuits, such as ceramics and quilting. She relishes day trips exploring new destinations. If one were to ask Wake for advice, she would likely emphasize the importance of seeking out opportunities for staying active and socially engaged, as demonstrated by her vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.
Barbara Filipiak is a dedicated volunteer who devotes countless hours to various organizations. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, she volunteered for the Orleans Genesee County Public Health Department, providing vital assistance with essential supplies. She worked at every vaccination clinic, and her exceptional efficiency and organizational skills made her the first to step up when help was needed. Her volunteer work also includes the Medina Area Association of Churches (MAC Thrift Store and Emergency Food Pantry). She also takes on numerous volunteer responsibilities within Medina Holy Trinity Parish and holds several officer roles within the Catholic Daughters organization. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Medina Historical Society and is an active member of the Cobblestone Society, Sandstone Society, and the Friends of the Lee Whedon Memorial Library. At the local Alpha Theta Chapter of the Woman’s Educator Society, she has held positions such as president, treasurer, and rules committee member over the years, making a significant impact both locally and at the state level. She embarked on her teaching career in Medina, New York, in September 1972, dedicating herself to educating third and fourth graders for 33 years before retiring in June 2005. The invasive Mile-a-minute by Kristina Gabalski This column was inspired by a reader who contacted Westside News about an invasive vine that can smother and kill plants. Although I am not sure this is the vine the reader is referencing, I do know Mile-a-minute (Persicaria perforliata) is an invasive vine found in our area, can grow six inches in one day, and can blanket and slowly suffocate native vegetation, especially small shrubs and trees. Penn State Extension says Milea-minute is a trailing vine with barbed stems and triangular leaves. It is a herbaceous annual, meaning that it does die back each fall, but the plant produces large amounts of seeds – thousands – that can remain dormant for as long as six years. The plant is native to India and East Asia and came to this country unintentionally in the 1930s in contaminated nursery soil. You may have seen it growing along stream banks, disturbed sites, and along roadsides. Mile-a-minute can grow more than 20 feet in a single growing season and its seeds are dispersed by wildlife, traffic and even water. The plant is characterized by dull green triangular leaves with sharp corners. The underside of the central vein and leaf stems have many hooked barbs. Penn State says round, leaflike structures known as ocreae, completely encircle the main stem at the base of each petiole. Mile-a-minute produces berrylike fruit in late summer that is metallic blue or purple in color. The fruit appears in a long cluster at the tip of the vine. Barbs on the stems allow the vine to easily climb over other plants
and surfaces. The dead, tangled stems persist over the winter, covering desirable plants. The vine prefers sunny conditions – it will not do well in shade – and also likes moderate to high soil moisture. Penn State explains that the ongoing fragmentation of forests from development helps create more habitat for establishment of Mile-a-minute. A few years back, I had a vine in one of my gardens. It actually took several weeks for me to realize it was Mile-a-minute. I was able to easily pull it out of the soil before the plant went to seed. Mechanical control is very effective with limited infestations. Be sure to protect your hands with gloves while removing the vine. If you are pulling plants after seed emergence, place the plants in bags and destroy. West Virginia University Extension says selective herbicides containing triclopyr or 2,4-D + triclopyr provide effective control of this invasive weed. Glyphosate (Roundup) – a non-selective herbicide – will also control Mile-a-minute. Remember to follow label directions when applying any herbicides/pesticides. It is interesting to note that Milea-minute may be managed by Integrated Pest Management. A specialist weevil (Rhinoncomimus latipes) lays eggs specifically on Mile-a-minute. Larvae feed until they pupate and drop into the soil. Although the weevil does not eradicate the plant, it does severely stunt its growth. Other plants are not harmed. Be on the lookout for this plant in your yard during the growing season – you will want to remove it as soon as you identify it.

The Hochstein School named Naomi Rosario, a sophomore violinist at Hilton High School as a member of the 2023-2024 Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, the highest-level youth orchestra in The Hochstein School’s four-tier youth orchestra program. Rosario is among students in grades seven through 12 from 29 different schools from all over the Rochester region. Students compete annually for a seat in the orchestra, performing in at least three concerts throughout the school year. The first concert of the year is on Sunday, November 12, at 2 p.m. in the Hochstein Performance Hall at 50 North Plymouth Avenue in Rochester. Other concerts are in the winter and spring. Pink the Field Tournament raises over $15,000 for Rochester Breast Cancer Coalition Chili Soccer Association, Rochester’s oldest youth soccer club, held another successful Pink the Field tournament this year. The tournament is a philanthropic event dedicated to raising funds for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. For the past 10 years, the club’s Tournament Director, Amy Wood, has been leading the charge to make a difference in the community. This year’s Pink the Field event saw tremendous support from participants and various fundraising activities, resulting in a donation of over $15,000 to the Breast Cancer Coalition. They paraded the streets of Churchville led by the fire trucks

Opinion & Comments Veterans Day Veterans Day is a national holiday set aside to honor all those who honorably served in the military. It is fitting that we honor those who defended our Constitution and preserved our freedoms. The strength of our military is the spirit, valor, and resilience of all those who swore an oath to defend and protect the Constitution. Those who put on the uniform take an oath to live up to the highest standards and they shoulder great responsibilities. The goal of U.S. forces is not to promote war but to preserve the peace through preparations. World events show that peace is not a guarantee, and our democracy is fragile. The American Legion seeks to strengthen communities by supporting the local fire department, the Boy Scouts and other community organizations. Furthermore, the American Legion is the nation’s largest and most powerful voice on behalf of veterans and their families. The V.A. healthcare, and the G.I. Bill are examples of how the American Legion helps veterans. It is the recognized leader in helping veterans transition from military to civilian life. You have a home in the American Legion.
Spotted lanternfly found in Monroe County Small, isolated populations of spotted lanternflies (SLF) have been found in the town of Greece. This is the first confirmed occurrence of a breeding population of this invasive insect in Monroe County. The finds are near Rt. 104 and 390. New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets is actively assessing the situation. From monitoring other outbreaks, it appears that we have some time before this will become a wide-spread issue. Generally, it takes three to four years, and possibly longer, before populations will become noticeable. The biggest cause for concern is our upstate vineyards because although the spotted lanternfly can feed on over 100 different plants, the only crop plant it is known to impact is grape vines. Due to large role the wine industry plays in our upstate economy,

National Adoption Day As a Family Court Judge, I, Judge Dandrea Ruhlmann have the privilege of co-chairing with Judge Joseph Nesser, Monroe County’s celebration of National Adoption Day on Friday, November 17, 2023. This year marks the twentieth year we as a community have paused to highlight the adoption of children from foster care. Why do we celebrate National Adoption Day? It is a day that represents promise and hope for 7,600 New York children in foster care awaiting permanent homes. The chaos created by substance abuse, unaddressed mental illness and/or physical violence have left these children without safe, permanent homes. This year our Court highlights the adoption of older children, especially teenagers. New York family court laws mandate the consent of a child over the age of 14 before adoption. Despite his/her experiences of loss and/or trauma, a teenager’s decision to be adopted is always courageous and surprisingly difficult. Such teens are often torn between a perplexing desire to both rescue and remain connected to their biological parents and the love for their potential adoptive family. Every year hundreds of young people in our state “age out” of foster care, far too many drop out of school, experience homelessness or end up in jail. The children’s author Dr. Suess would simply say, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not.” These teens need loving and nurturing homes, and I ask you to consider foster care adoption. Foster care adoption expands rather than diminishes our concept of family. Adopted children gain new brothers and/or sisters while staying connected to biological ones, often bridging two families. But rest assured, in our midst are those “who care a whole lot.” Experts agree there are a growing number of non-traditional families, such as older couples and single parents now adopting. Loving relatives also step forward to adopt when children are in foster care, filling the gaps in care left by biological parents. By acts of unconditional love, and sometimes outside services, parents who adopt older children surmount behavioral and emotional challenges arising from at-risk beginnings. Our celebration allows our community to hear from the children themselves and their adoptive parents about their journey. The formal Court adoption proceeding bears great significance for an older child marking the start of his forever family. National Adoption Day celebrates the finalization of adoptions of any age – please join us on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Monroe County Family Court Room 303 Hall of Justice. Being alert and on the lookout for egg cases now and insects in the spring is our best defense. Reporting any sightings is vital, so SLF can be tracked and controlled. First, take a photo, then if you capture the insect, kill it. Finally send your photo and location information to Spotted Lanternfly Public Report (arcgis.com). SLF is not a danger to humans or other animals. They do not bite and they do not carry disease. They can certainly be a nuisance, but we don’t want to overreact and try to control them with chemicals or other methods that will not affect the insects, but could harm the environment. Greece announces new owner for Crescent Beach Restaurant After nearly a decade of delays and false starts, the Crescent Beach Restaurant is finally on track to make a comeback. “This time it’s for real,” said Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich. “We’ve been in talks with a competent and successful restaurant operator who has now secured the property, and she means business.” Local restauranteur Katherine MottFormicola, a Greece native known for venues such as Monroe’s Restaurant in Pittsford, The Wintergarden by Monroe’s in Downtown Rochester, The Divinity Estate and Chapel across from Highland Park, and her newest venture Rare 3001, a high-end steakhouse located in the lower level of Monroe’s on Monroe Avenue set to open in December 2023, recently closed on the Crescent Beach property. She plans to complete the long-stalled renovations and anticipates reopening the iconic Greece establishment in May of next year. Mott-Formicola intends to infuse the beloved iconic Greece landmark with the high standards, delicious menu and amazing service for which she is known. “I am delighted to be back in Greece and so excited at the prospect of returning Crescent Beach to a destination restaurant and venue” said Kathy. “I’m especially excited to celebrate the holidays at Crescent Beach and bring back customer favorites, such as Sunday Brunch and all you can eat seafood and prime rib!”
Kathy and her team are ready for this project. “Our sleeves are rolled up and we’ve hit the ground running to be ready for our Spring Grand Opening,” she said enthusiastically. “I feel truly honored to head up this nostalgic project and write the next chapter in the Crescent Beach story. See you at Crescent Beach in 2024!” Supervisor Reilich said, “We’re excited to welcome Kathy to Greece’s business community and grateful to have her as a partner in bringing back Crescent Beach. She brings an energy and level of quality that’s exactly what we need to make this successful.” MottFormicola also recently took over food, beverage and events at Ridgemont Country Club in Greece. For almost a decade, Crescent Beach has been owned by an individual in Ontario, Canada. Through a combination of absenteeism, unpaid contractors, and soured investors, renovations stalled for several years and the property has been largely dormant since 2017. Liens had accumulated and property maintenance was a sore spot for the town’s Code Enforcement division and Edgemere Drive neighbors alike. As the Canadian owner became less and less responsive to enforcement, with the support of Supervisor Reilich’s newly formed Economic Development team a different approach and strategy was undertaken, and those intensified efforts helped the owner to clean up the title and market the property. Serious discussions with MottFormicola began in the spring of this year and a project team assembled months in advance culminating with the best outcome for the business and in particular, the Greece community. Brighten spirits this season by becoming a DePaul Holiday Helper With the holiday season steadily approaching, DePaul, a not-for-profit health and human service agency based in Gates, is seeking the community’s support for its annual Holiday Helpers Program. Individuals, businesses, schools, and service and faithbased organizations can “adopt” clients from DePaul’s mental health residential programs who may not have family support during this meaningful time of year. Participants can select from items on a wish list or choose to donate generic gifts such as gift cards, personal hygiene and cleaning products. Past
client wishes have included items as simple as a piece of chocolate cake, boots or basic articles of clothing. If you are interested in adopting actual gifts from an individual’s holiday wish list, arrangements can be made to ship adopted wishes from online retailers directly to DePaul. If you wish to purchase gifts and personally deliver them, specific appointment times will be available for in-person drop-offs. Donations of gift cards and financial contributions can also be made instead of purchasing
gifts. DePaul is dedicated to safety and social distancing as needed. Nativity BVM Church to celebrate 175 years as a faith community The Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport will celebrate their 175th Anniversary at events this coming Thanksgiving weekend. The festivities will begin Saturday, November 25, at 4 p.m. in front of the church with a walking procession around the “street block” of Nativity’s history and ending entering the present Church of Nativity at 152 Main Street. The route includes a walk down Main Street going north to Erie Street, down Erie to Utica, Utica up Monroe Avenue back onto Main Street. Most Rev. Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Rochester, will lead the procession and then celebrate the Eucharist at the 5 p.m. Mass with former pastors,
assistants, deacons and administrators as honored guests. Mass-goers will then head into the Parish Center Main Hall for a buffet supper and program. A new permanent display of parish history and memorabilia will also be exhibited in the Parish Center. On Sunday, November 26, the festivities will begin with Rev. Joseph Marcoux, the current Nativity pastor, celebrating the Eucharist at the 11 a.m. Mass with former principals, teachers and religious educators that staffed the parish school once located on Utica and Erie Street. The school, now the Cornerstone Christian Academy, was in existence for 137 years of the 175 the parish celebrates. From noon to 3 p.m. former administration, teachers and students of Nativity school are invited to tour the old school on 60 Holley Street. Mt. Olivet Cemetery, administered by the Church of Nativity and located at 68812 E. Canal Road, Brockport, will be open for visitation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A tour will be given at 3 p.m. by Brockport native and Cemetery Advisory Committee member, John Toal. Holley girls soccer off to state final four for first time in program history by Warren Kozireski “I knew that they could do it, it was just that they had to believe that they could do it and I have a bunch of girls here who believed that they could do it,” Holley girls soccer head coach Renee Wolf said. “It” is a trip to the state tournament where the Hawks will battle Waterford-Halfmoon from Section II after riding a pair of goals from leading scorer Sam Bates to defeat Frewsburg from Section VI in the Regional Round. Holley earned their state postseason run by defeating Williamson in the Class C1 final to win the Class C Section V title – their first since 1994. They then upset Byron-Bergen, who had defeated them 6-0 in mid-September, 3-2 in overtime in the Class C state play-in round. “We’re really happy that we could win Sectionals and keep moving on toward state’s; it’s been great,” Bates said. “We’re like a family. “I think after we lost to (Byron) Bergen 6-0, we all just stepped it up and we didn’t want to lose like that again and we just kept working hard and we were winning,” senior midfielder Emma Brady said. “I think we like (being considered the underdog). No one expects us to win, and we just do.”

The Spencerport girls soccer team scored a 10-0 win over Niagara Wheatfield at Far West Regionals to advance to the NYS Final Four. Junior Lindsay Lenhard led the team, scoring four goals. Emily Peacock scored twice with Kendall Mesh, Jamie Keens, Isabella Fiorillo, and Emma Watson each scoring once. Cate Burns led a shutout effort in goal, the team’s 19th of the season. Churchville-Chili girls varsity cross country team wins Sectional title The Churchville-Chili Girls Varsity Cross Country team won the Section V Class A Championship on Saturday, November 4, with a score of 61 points. The team celebrated with a fire truck parade back to school Saturday, followed by a team parade through the high school to show off the sectional brick Monday morning. Coach Richard Strasser was also named the Section V Class A Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year.
This is his second time earning this honor. The win earns the entire girls team a trip to the state championship which will be held on Saturday, November 11 at Vernon Verona Sherrill High School. Driving Dreams, Safely Guiding Tomorrow’s Future
Royal Princess Brunch at OFC OFC Creations presents “The November Royal Princess Brunch” on Saturday, November 19. An enchanted brunch is served for families of young princes and princesses. Princess Snow White, Fairy Godmother, Cinderella and Aurora will dine with young royalty at The Old Farm Cafe. The event is suggested for young ones ages three to eight years old. The celebration will begin with guests taking their seats throughout the enchanted farmyard until the brunch buffet is served. The buffet will feature scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes, and specialty
beverages will be available for purchase including lattes, cappuccinos, mimosas, and juice. The magical festivities will begin directly after brunch is served with live musical performances by all of the princesses and a sing-a-long involving all attendees. Directly following the show, young guests will have the opportunity to take photos with the princesses on the gazebo stage. Young attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favorite royal costume. This event offers the opportunity to introduce young ones to theatre in an interactive and welcoming environment. Doors open at 9 a.m., brunch buffet will be served at 9:30 a.m., the show starts at 10 a.m., and concludes with photos at 10:45 a.m. Tickets are $20 per child and $30 per adult and include the show and the brunch buffet. Tickets are by reserved seating. Please note, if one does not purchase all tickets at their table, they may be seated with other parties. Parties larger than four are encouraged to purchase two tables close to each other and adjust them together upon arrival. Princesses are subject to change.
