Healthy Competition

The race is on to see which elementary school will take home the 2022 Commission Cup . Manatee Bay Elementary was last year’s winning school. The friendly competition takes place on December 4th during the Rotary Club of Weston’s 25th Annual Run for Tomorrow presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The coveted Commission Cup trophy is presented to the school with the best participation (based on percentage of total enrollment) in the 1-Mile Health Walk, but all participating schools are winners because a $1,000 cash prize will be awarded for completing the walk and at least one activity at the Health & Fitness Festival (minimum 10% participation of school enrollment).
