EVENTS

Events at Westonbirt are the glue that hold us together. From Jazz Nights to Easter Egg Hunts to frequent trips to Cirencester or Bath, they make the school the community it is, especially for boarders. With spring bringing us some warmer weather, the mood brightens on campus and smiles appear. Take a look at how Westonbirt students enjoy the outdoors and grow together as a community with some of the events happening on campus this term.

Xavier decided to be Luke Skywalker. He bought a helmet in Florida and thought it would be a good opportunity to wear it, and we have to agree. His vest was spray painted by him and wore a harness from his Dad who climbs.

Sheba's and Scarlett's costume was the cat in the hat by Dr. Seuss. At first they wanted to come as two characters of the book but then they felt like matching costume would be more iconic. They made the hats theirselves with only paper and tape and took two hours for it.

Ms Butterfield came as Captain Hook from Peter Pan. There was a English department theme of Villains & Heroes in fairytales. Ms Butterfield made the costume herself including pearls from her Christmas tree and necklace from a thrift store with her outfit from her dressing up box

Mrs Dangerfield came as Scout from To K Bird because she is her favorite char incredibly insightful young narrator. Mr also recycled some of her outfit by wear shoes from when he was young

Mr. Holland and Miss Morris came as the Greek god Odysseus and the goddess Athena from the epic The Oddysey. Their costumes and makeup were both handmade, with necklaces borrowed from Mr. Mew.
