Lori Gillett CK Construction, CEO

Lori Gillett, a third-generation owner of the Burgett family of companies, became the CEO of CK Construction Group in 2019, and elected to serve as Chair of the Board in 2022. Lori worked summers at Kokosing from 7th grade as an intern, then as a laborer through her high school and college years. Following graduation from Ohio Northern University with a BSCE, Lori began her career as a project engineer for the Kokosing group of companies in 1996.

CK Construction Group is a private, family-owned company, founded and headquartered in Ohio. CK specializes in construction management, designbuild and general contracting within commercial construction market sectors throughout Ohio and Indiana, with select clients nationwide.

Lori is involved in the community through the Columbus Partnership, and currently serves on the Board of Advisors for One Columbus . She also serves on the Board of Directors for the New Albany Community Foundation, JobsOhio, and Associated General Contractors of Ohio, Central Ohio Division. In addition to her board service, Lori has extensive committee involvement within each board, including serving as JobsOhio Audit Committee Chair and most recently named to the One Columbus and JobsOhio Executive Committees.

Lori is a wife and a mother, who enjoys Pilates and golf. Lori resides in Westerville, Ohio with her husband and their two children.

Megan Tener

CK Construction, Director of Team Member Resources

Meagan Tener (pronounced Teener) is the Director ofTeam Member Resourcesfor CK Construction. Meagan obtained her bachelor's in communication from the University ofToledo, then lived in Japan for a year, where she taught middle school English. After she received her master’s in communication from the University of Cincinnati, she started her career with the Kokosing family of companies. She has almost 20 years of experience in various areas of HR, including talent management, learning and development, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, and leave administration. She has also helped develop various leadership programs and is part ofthe senior management team. Meagan has been involved in the community through her previous work on the Board of Directorsfor the ALS Association of Central Ohio. She also volunteers with her daughter’s 4-H Chapter. Meagan is a wife and mother who enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and boating. She resides in Sunbury, Ohio, with her husband and their two children.
