here is no better place to spend a Saturday morning than The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, at the corner of Windsor and Exposition. Nestled in the heart of Tarrytown, the church hosts a seasonal farmers market from 9 am to 1 pm each Saturday.

Now in its second year, the Fall market boasts over 25 vendors selling a wide variety of local goods. Shoppers can find fresh produce, honey, eggs, juice, pasta, sauces, jellies, regular and glutenfree bread and baked goods, farmed flowers, jewelry, pet food/gear, and much more each week. Under shady oak trees, visitors can enjoy live music by various talented volunteer musicians from the Good Shepherd church and preschool community. The Market offers an excellent opportunity to meet new friends and neighbors while fueling one’s weekly shopping with fresh coffee and plenty of options for breakfast or lunch. The new Kids Corner is an inviting space for children to explore while

parents relax nearby, and the school playground is always open, providing endless entertainment for little ones. The Good Shepherd Farmers Market is a ministry of hospitality for the church and was born out of a desire to bring together neighborhood residents, small local farmers, and food vendors. The Market allows shoppers to buy wholesome, healthy food in their own neighborhood while supporting local businesses and generating a sense of community among all participants. The Market is run by Market Manager Yolanda Naby and a dedicated committee of church volunteers. The church aims to continually grow and improve the Market, hoping to become part of a Saturday routine for locals.
