MESSAGE FROM STEVE THOMPSON A MESSAGEAFROM YOUR SUPERINTENDENT
After numerous meetings with you, input from students and members of the community, our construction projects continue to move forward. We are currently in the design process and we are beginning to see animations and renderings of the new buildings. I would encourage you to check our website in order to see the most current information. Thank you to those that have given your time and energy to assist with our building designs. It is an exciting time!
In addition to the updates on our construction, I would like to call your attention to the accolades presented to our three middle schools. All three schools were awarded the Momentum Award which was presented by the Ohio State Board of Education for exceeding expectations in student growth for the 2015—2016 school year. This award is evidence of the tremendous efforts you and your students are putting forth to improve student achievement! I am proud to be a part of Willoughby-Eastlake Schools.

HAVE YOU BEEN TO OUR WELLNESS CLINIC? Traffic at the WEllness Clinic has been increasing and we are hearing positive feedback. I hope that you will use this valuable service. The WEllness Clinic is housed at NCI Eastlake. This clinic will be open for employees and their families on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The WEllness Clinic is operated by Lake Health and is staffed by a Lake Health Family Practice Certified Nurse Practitioner who is able to treat most common illnesses such as the flu, rashes, and strep throat. If you or a member of your family use the WEllness Clinic, there is NO OFFICE VISIT COPAY.
