The award is actually a silver trophy called the Michaelis Cup, which was handed over to members of Wendover Parish Council by a group
of judges who had assessed the towns. Wendover scored 180 out of 200 marks. Councillor Bill Chapple said “The award is not just about the place, but the community. It’s a reflection of the love and care we have for Wendover.”
