With the untimely and unfortunate plumbing incident at the start of our school year in mind, we chose collaboration as the value to highlight for our inaugural edition, as it was only through the collaboration of multiple entities and the generosity of the greater community that our faculty and staff were able to serve our students so well in a difficult time.

This seamless transition to “school in town” transformed a problem into new possibilities and an experience of joy and discovery for our students and staff as the Village became our classroom.

During those four days, our school experienced pure collaboration in its most hands-on, immersive way, and we are grateful.

On a sunny morning, the entire Village became Lower Elementary’s classroom as they explored the post office, library, a museum, a silly telephone and other sites around town.
