Market Place regeneration

Hatfield is set to undergo a transformative change with the regeneration of Market Place, creating a vibrant and inviting hub for the community.

The new public space will provide a welcoming and inclusive area for families and people of all ages to come together to relax, play, and enjoy quality time in the heart of the town centre. It will also support local businesses by encouraging more visitors and longer visits.

The development is part of the wider Hatfield 2030+ regeneration programme, which aims to encourage more people to visit the town and make it an attractive place for people to enjoy. It builds on previous projects, including the regeneration of White Lion Square and One Town Centre, and is being delivered using funding secured through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
