Hiking, cycling, sailing, fishing and horseback riding enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities to pursue their hobbies in Mosina. The municipality operates many hotels and restaurants that cater to the needs of individual holidaymakers as well as families. Mosina is a place of immense natural beauty. The municipality is covered by the territory of the Rogalin Landscape Park, Wielkopolski National Park and the Natura 2000 network of protected areas. The greatest natural attractions in Mosina include the unique marshy meadows stretching along river Warta in Rogalin as well as monumental oaks named after the legendary Slavic brothers: Lech, Czech and Rus. The late Baroque residence of the Raczyński family and the Painting Gallery, a branch of the National Museum in Poznań, attract more than 60,000 visitors each year. Tourists flock to the site to admire lavish palace interiors, to learn about the history of the Raczyński family and view oil paintings by the most outstanding Polish artists of the 19th and the 20th century, among them Jan Matejko, Stanisław Wyspiański and Jacek Malczewski. Following a restoration project that spanned nearly two decades, the main palace building has been finally opened to the public. The residence has been restored to its former glory with the financial assistance of Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, the European Union and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The Wielkopolski National Park is home to picturesque lakes situated in the midst of lush woods. Each year, the park is visited by more than one million people who travel down hiking trails to admire the breathtaking scenery of the Warta river valley that stretches from Osowa Mountain, the highest point in the park. The mountain also opens onto a panoramic view of Lake Góreckie and an island with ruins of a hunting lodge built in 1827 by count Tytus Działyński for his sister, Klaudyna Potocka. These are only some of the sites that are worth visiting in the Mosina municipality.
