hello FROM KRISTI
If
t h e r e’s something Winter Texans like to do, it’s exploring the area, eating, and doing a little shopping! Where can you do all of the above in one stop? At a local farmers’ market, of course! Farmers’ markets, craft sales, and flea markets are always fun because of the diversity of what you might find. You could go each week and try something new each time. Sometimes I wish I could grow a garden, make things by hand, or create jams or hand lotion from fruit and flowers. But then I realize that, by doing so, I might deprive our local vendors at the farmers’ market the opportunity to make a sale! That’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it.
Terra Preta Farm and Vida Farms harvest certified organic produce the day prior to offering it at farmers’ markets.
