4. Pull the needle and thread back up through the fabric, next to where your first stitch began.

5. Make another parallel stitch, and keep doing this until you fill the shape of the letter. Be sure that your stitches remain very close together for a more satiny feel and solid appearance (see figure C). 6. Keep the reverse stitches as neat as the front. A successful satin stitch should look the same on both sides. 7.
When you have filled the letter, tie a neat knot and hide it behind the stitches on the backside.
