黃偉 Huang Wei 1 995 台灣，台中

1995 年生於台灣台中，現居臺北。目前主要以影像為創作思考的中心，擅長 音像演出，互動影像設計，空間裝置。其創作主要是圍繞在對於生活的觀察並 透過對於物件的直觀想像，將非日常的畫面帶入日常中。他創作關注的焦點為 如何藉由影像跟聲音去強調出現實的身體感與既視感，致力於電腦演算的影像 與聲響組合進行演出。曾參與失聲祭、白晝之夜等演出。

Through visual perception, extraordinary images become part of daily life. In his works, he emphasizes perception and sensory experiences. Moreover, he is devoted to creating algorithmbased performances that combine images and sound.

Exhibition FUTURE VISION LAB, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, Taipei 以 Nanonano 由電子離子束建構出的真實微觀世界和黃偉的電子訊號數位影像，共同創造實虛交疊

的新型態地景樣貌。本計劃以都市建設迅速發展趨近於飽和極限、生態資源已能被計算出耗盡時間

點的現在為出發點，嘗試在微觀尺度中以現有城市中存有的各種物質重新建構出未來城市廢墟的樣

貌。當數位虛擬去除過後，世界終將回歸到物質；當將人類從城市中去除過後，環境終將回歸到平衡。 我們希望以這座被真實建構出且沒有人的奇觀式微觀城市廢墟為借鏡向生活在城市中的人提問並反 思，我們所期盼的未來城市會是什麼樣貌？

Performance Taiwan Sound Lab, Taipei

透過觀察所居住的程式台北，將對他有意義的畫面：人與人、 大樓與矮房、地下道與捷運系統等，這些平日都會接觸與自

己既熟悉又不熟悉的人事物，將那些近似於照片的畫面使用 點雲的方式紀錄。

如日記般，記錄自己周遭的環境與空間，用科技的角度代替

藝術家去重新思考和詮釋這些人事物所帶來的感受。藝術家 對於這樣的方法是否能改變人們紀錄生活跟回憶過去的方式

很感興趣，也希望藉由演出形式呈現，將這些畫面結合聲響 帶給觀眾，在點雲構成的世界內穿梭。

在不同維度的世界裡觀看原子的擴散與彌散，透過不斷切換的畫面視角去觀看同一個元素的各個面 向，從一個點到一個物件都是由細小的原子組成。影像中點線面集成，以一種有機的狀態在空間中 流動。使用演算的生成的即時聲音與影像，影像搭配著電子碎拍的聲響，讓觀者藉由聲響與影像連 動的密切性中探索純粹的感官體驗。

地下道對我們來說是個有趣的空間，在進入地下道後迎面而來的是一條單一的路徑，明確 的指向目的地，所以只要放空去享受當下環境所給予的氛圍，感受空間中帶來的感官體驗。 然而意識到在地下道這人造空間細微的有機變化，過程中像是在都市中潛行，並以另外一 種方式微觀都市，試圖帶著觀眾們與我們一起在超現實的地下道穿梭。 在創作時我們實地探訪在台北的地下道，到現場採集聲音、畫面、材質，影像部分使用 Unity3d 製作場景，材質部分使用 Substance Design，再透過 Touchdesigner 與 Ableton Live 連動，將聲音畫面進行同步，執行現場演出。 The underpass is an interesting space for us,after entering the underpass, a single path will come to the destination.So just empty to enjoy the atmosphere given by the current environment,and feel the sensory experience of space.But realize the subtle organic changes in this artificial space as the underpass,seems like slinking in an urban,and microcosmic city in another way,tried to bring the audience shuttle surreal underpass with us.

During the creation. We visited the underpass in Taipei,collect sound, picture and material on site.Use Unity3d to make scene for image part,material part use Substance Design.Finally, by using TouchDesigner and Ableton Live, we can synchronize the sound and visual to live performance.

現今科技快速進步下，人們試著製造出逼真的 3D 影像，在扁平畫面中尋找影像創作者想 傳達的真實，但同時只是透過一種平面的媒介對外展示。 作品由影像與聲音同步演算構成。影像部分透過分割與疊加，嘗試以平面的方式找出自己 想傳達的真實。聲音部分採集日常中細微的撞擊聲想像為顆粒，用循環樂句效果製造出一 個具有引力的原子中心，不同顆粒在電腦演算下以原子為中心圍繞，隨機地互相碰撞，有 意識地經過電腦編排成工整的樂曲形式，尋找一個可閱讀的出口。 聽覺與視覺在平衡狀態下共同指出了一個意象，其中一者過於具象都會使其失去平衡，然 而作品使用到大量電腦演算與軟體之間的溝通，其演算結果不為了尋找答案，只為了尋找 每個人心中的那個近似值。 With new technological advances. Peo- ple try to find the reality that the image creator wants to convey in a flat picture by creating realistic 3D images. But af- ter all, it is only displayed through a flat medium.

In the image part, Huang divides and superimposes the color blocks. Try to find out the real plane the way he wanted to convey.

In the sound part, Wang collects the subtle percussive sounds in daily life and imagines them as particles. Use the loop phrase effect to create a gravitational atomic center.

Different particles are surrounded by atoms under computer calculus and randomly collide.

[A]udio-Visua[I] 成員：許巽翔、陳威諭、黃偉 計畫內容 : 本計劃預計使用 AI 技術結合團隊於音像表演及燈光裝置的技術相為結合 , 創作出一名 AI 表演者 , 並於計劃末與 AI 一同舉辦一場現場演出。Audio-Visual Performance ( 音像表演 ) 在當今數位科技蓬勃發展的當下已漸漸成為一 種現場表演的主流趨勢。在數位軟硬體的進 步以及普及化的當下 , 將聲音與影像透過 技術的整合同時滿足觀賞者對於視覺及聽覺的需 求正是其迷人之處。不像常見的 MV 或 是演唱會視覺那樣已經被既定規則制約而產出的成 品 , 音像表演者如何透過自己設定 的規矩即時在現場即時產出每場內容都不同的表演便是 音像表演的迷人之處。 在當今 AI 及深度學習爆炸性發展的現在 , 其技術已經大大的引響了許多我們對於平常 習以 為常事物的認知。但此項技術的發展使本團隊最為感到興奮以及有興趣的並“AI 是否能取 代人”這樣或許會讓人感到恐慌以 及需要深度思辨的議題 , 我們對於這樣子的技術是否能 鬆動我們對於某種領域既定印 象或是提點出某種嶄新的面貌更感到有興趣。 我們選擇了音像表演這個領域為出發點 , 其原因就是我們好奇一個經過不斷自我學習的 AI 會如何產出以及處理這樣一個因為需要人的即時操作而迷人的領域。由 AI 所製造出來的 產物 , 截至目前來說都還是存在著許多不確定性。它會試著接近音樂中的節奏性或是音色 , 但同時卻也可能在中間創造出未知的樣貌。而這樣的微妙現象對於現場表演來說是一種獨 特的表演元素 , 就像是人的即時操作那樣。究竟我們如何將這樣的一台機器視為一位表演 者 , 而真實表演者如何在聽到未知的聲音時產生互動。或許其產出的作品會雜亂不堪不如 某種預期又也許會是讓我們驚豔不已的全新風格。但重要的是當我們在面對那些產出後的 成品後是否能受到更多的啟發進而對於音像表演有更多以前沒有的想像進行下個階段的創 作 , 就像韓國棋王李世石在當初面對人工智能時 下出讓人感動的神之一手。

執行內容 : 因為計畫過於龐大，於是我們擬定了在此次計畫中將著重於機器學習對於聲響以及音樂的 產物實驗上，兩階段的創作實驗。研究並嘗試各種演算法在此計畫中佔據了極重要的角色， 在前後期我們嘗試的執行內容如下。

39 第一階段 在第一階段的測試結果中，我們透過 4 種演算法的篩選確定了訓練的大方向，那就是以多種 演算法的結合來進行下階段的實驗產出，分別以結構和音色這兩大區塊先進行分別訓練後再 進行結合。 演算法 1.Magenta - DrumsRNN. 資料型態： MIDI 譜，針對鼓組，利用 LSTM 演算法去訓練其鼓譜結構 當初想先針對鼓組就產出，所以使用了預先訓練好的鼓模型產生 MIDI 譜，此演算法的產生 結構穩定的 MIDI 譜，也讓我們看到了對於訓練 MIDI 資料的可能性。

演算法 2.Wavenet 資料型態：訓練原始音檔波型 由於在前面使用 DrumsExtration 以及 DeepConvSep 的經驗，我們決定先從曲子結構較為簡 單的環境聲響以及電子噪音為取樣資料來源，雖然在產出曲子的結構上還無法得出較為令我 們滿意的產物，但在音色上面 Wavenet 已經能偶爾做出令我們驚喜的音色。

40 Sound Project 第二階段 在實驗後期階段中，藉由前期的經驗我們設定了明確的訓練方式及目標，在樂曲結構方面我 們透過實驗選擇了 Polyphony RNN 演算法來替代前期使用的 Magenta，而在音色上面則繼 續沿用 Wavenet 演算法對於電子音樂聲音進行演算產出。 演算法 3.Polyphony RNN 資料型態：和弦 MIDI 譜 後期階段的訓練主要是針對和弦去訓練，希望為音樂做一個明確的底譜，這個演算法能夠處 理同一時間同時發生的音節，能夠更完整的訓練出某種音樂風格。 展演活動 我們替產出的聲音作品做出一個虛擬代表 HCH，並以此身份將階段性的產物搭配視覺參 與展覽，在後期我們總共使用上述的方式實驗性的產出 39 首曲目以 HCH 的名義上傳至 SoundCloud 上，並另外以 4 張專輯的形式搭配影像的方式上傳至 Youtube 頻道中。
