eet Simran Dhindsa, Head Chef at one of Penrith’s most popular family restaurants – Outback Steakhouse. Simran, 26, was born in Punjab, India and has been part of the Outback Steakhouse family for eight years. In 2010, Simran opened the busy Penrith restaurant, which on average serves 2500 guest per week. Simran leads a dedicated team of 15 chefs, who work tirelessly each day producing amazing, hearty meals that have you wanting more and more after each bite. Although beef and steak items make up a good portion of Simran’s menu, the Outback Steakhouse concept also offers up a variety of chicken, ribs,

seafood, and pasta dishes. Outback Steakhouse, on a daily basis, consistently provides its guests with high-quality food and service, generous portions at moderate prices and a casual atmosphere suggestive of the Australian Outback. Outback Steakhouse is all about big, bold flavours and focuses on quality, consistency and preparation. Each day the team start out fresh, making every one of their soups, salad dressings and sauces from scratch. Over the next few weeks, Simran is looking forward to introducing some new items to the Penrith menu. One delicious new addition will be the Beef Ribs, marinated overnight before being ‘smoked’ for three hours prior to being basted in tasty BBQ sauce.
