Things to Do:

Living High T

he Outer Banks is a unique place in its environment and culture; thus it deserves a unique place to stay when visiting. Even an upscale motel or hotel won’t have the same vibe as staying in a beachfront home. Our home away from home was a magnificent mansion on the ocean in South Nags Head. It even has a name, Take It To The Limit. It’s 11,000 square feet of luxury living space with more amenities than a five star hotel. There’s an elevator to whisk you to the third floor where you find two hot tubs, a private pool, built in spa and even a Tiki Bar. The view looking out over the pool to the ocean is postcard worthy.. Adjourning are two open kitchens paralleling each other. Emeril and Paula Deen would be right at home with the four wall ovens, two six burner stovetops, two extra large refrigerators, two microwaves and four dishwashers. There is even a pair of master bedrooms on that top level if you want to be near all the excitement. The second floor offers more bedrooms, all with their own bath, and a rec room with a pool table and shuffleboard game. Plus there is another fridge room one level down so everyone can keep their special stash of favorite drinks and snacks. A super large laundry room with three sets of washers and dryers make keeping up with tiresome necessities easy. Down on the first floor you have a theater room with tiered seating for 12 and a wet bar, There’s a

comfy sofa you could easily nap on in the den. As a bonus, you get golf privileges and special rates at the Nags Head Golf Links and Kilmarlic Golf Club. -30- | WEEKENDEREXTENDED.COM ~ June, 2018
