Write a novel in November

National Novel Writing Month inspires local authors By MARIA MAXHAM Staff Reporter

You can write a novel, and you can do it in a month. Every November, hundreds of thousands of people across the world, most of them amateur authors, participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), the goal of which is to complete a 50,000-word book in 30 days. In November 2017, according to the NaNoWriMo website, 306,230 writers around the world participated. This year, at least three local writers will be participating in NaNoWriMo.
