New Industry for New Identity
A DISTRICT FOCUSED ON RENEWABLE ENERGY CELEBRATES A NEW IDENTITY IN NORFOLK, NEBRASKA
The ReNew Circuit design focuses on creating new industries in the former Tyson Foods facility and Norfolk Livestock Market to introduce innovative renewable energy. The design also encourages the youth to return and stay in Norfolk.
The ReNew Circuit provides families with year-round activities, brings the Norfolk community together through the open public spaces, and shifts the community to being a leader in renewable energy through research and development of alternative sustainable energy sources.

Distributing Energy Through Tension
‘Tension’ is not bad. It is a way of understanding a centralized social and active point where people gather, pass-through, or activate a space. These sketches ask the question - how can the Circuit Greens park act as a space where the residents can be socially included, activating a space, and feeling a part of the community?
Spatial Definition for People and Place
Sketches to begin defining spaces prior to 3D modeling are important in understanding plans in schematic design phases.

Fletcher Studio Landscape Architceture and Urban Design
JANUARY 2022 - AUGUST 2022
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (IN-PERSON)
The internship experience at Fletcher Studio proved greatly valuable. The knowledge that I have retained has exceeded my expectations, and has prepared me for an entry-level position post-graduation. The experience has prepared me for project management phases of SD, DD, CD and CA. I am able to assist in distributing priorities in projects, such as tasks between team members, and preparing for approaching deadlines for primary consultants and clients request.
I partook in all phases of a project, including design charrettes, design development, construction documents and working in sheet-sets, budget meetings, and team meetings with clients and consultants. I have also developed a better design language and understanding of functional and unique designs by collaborating with and observing the team of talented designers.

What To Do
MAY 2021 - DECEMBER 2021
MIAMI, FLORIDA (IN-PERSON)
I nurtured my network and built relationships not only as co-workers, but as designer friends. I took risks by trying new hand, digital, and social skills. I experienced and engaged in clientfirm relationships, while coordinating professional engagement with consultants and contractors. I produced designs that solved problems through curiosity and research.
I presented ideas and received critical feedback from superiors with acceptance and understanding. I experienced projects from schematic design, design development, construction administration, and site-visit final production and implementation. I have grown into a more eager designer ready to tackle opportunities and challenges that will strengthen my skills and design abilities.

Concept #2
A Residential Streetscape Design
Concept #1 is attempting to slow traffic by having a thinner street width, resulting in a larger R.O.W. for street tree plantings. Concept #2 has a thin R.O.W. for two cars to pass. Both designs followed similar ground plane material and pattern.

Beach Front Residential Garden
Along with drawing, I worked along Associates and Senior Associates in creating this hand-drawn and collaged plan in Photoshop. As alterations were made, and drawings completed, I would insert the drawings into Photoshop along with the masterplan. I would layer the new hardscape, paving, pathways, or plantings atop the plan. While completely hand drawn, this image was digitally created.

AI and Collage
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND COLLAGE EXPLORATION
Using a Discord created by MidJourney, I inserted a text description following the code /imagine prompt. The text is then connected to a series of super computers running intense GPU’s that interpret your text description and generate highly detailed images.
I am taking my interest of AI and landscape architecture and attempting to research how to use this as a tool in the profession, such as 3D graphics, perspective studies, precedent imagery, planting concepts, paving studies, etc.
An example of the text prompt used to generate one of these images: verticalgarden, architecture, topography, sprucetrees, mounds, seatwalls, peopleenjoyinga pollinatorgarden, superrealistic, high definition.

All images on this spread reveal the power that artificial intelligence has in the design field and landscape architecture profession.
Lines of the Land
AN OPEN AIR STREET MARKET IN HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM
Lines of the Land is based on three pillars: fish market vendors, agricultural fields and the community. The Lines of the Land is a Urban Fish Market integrating an arching Greenway Bridge as the iconic element spanning above the market. The topographical forms and terraced agricultural fields surrounding Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam influenced the major design features presented throughout Lines of the Land. The layers provide sensory and physical experiences for the people.
The design expresses the agriculture landforms through organic geometry; an elevated greenway bridge to enhance the urban nature connection; and permanent vender booths for maximum use during anytime of day.
