The Top 10 Dos and Don’ts from Couples to Delight, not Fright!

1) Their Point of View

• Surprise fees

• Not getting to know the couple before diving into business details • Not helping them through the process with your business

 Being open and

approachable  Being upfront about all fees  Asking questions and truly listening to their answers 

2) Responses

• Takes 48+ hours to reply

• Assumes communication preferences • Becomes less responsive after a signed contract

 Responds within 24 hours

 Asks how they would like to be reached (text, email, call)  Responsive especially as the big day approaches!

3) Pricing

• No pricing info to be found

• Refusal to share price when asked • Scoffs at proposed budget

4) Communication
