Wow!! me parece mentira como transcurrió el 2014 de rápido, ya arrancamos el 2015, un año donde sabemos que vendran grandes cosas para este maravilloso pais y para los hispanos, quiero pedirles que nos unamos en oración para bendecir a Estados Unidos, no importa de que pais llegamos si vivimos aqui, tenemos la obligación de orar y pedirle a Dios de corazón que bendiga y cuide esta tierra.

También es una buena época para darle gracias a Dios por todo lo bueno que ha sido con nosotros, porque de El solo cosas buenas recibimos. Reflexionemos un poco de todo lo bueno que nos ocurrio en el 2014 y hagamos una lista de las cosas que queremos alcanzar en el 2015, seguramente con dedicación y esfuerzo podremos lograrlas siempre y cuando todo lo pongamos en las manos de Dios.

Planning a wedding is no small feat, as couples are faced with many decisions seemingly from the moment they get engaged right up until they walk down the aisle as man and wife. One of the biggest decisions a couple will make is where to host the reception.

The following are a few tips for couples looking to find the ideal banquet.

* Consider the size of the facility. Some couples prefer an intimate affair with relatively few guests, while others will desire a large wedding party with lots of guests. Couples can find a banquet hall that’s capable of catering to small or large wedding parties, but find one that fits your party specifically. If your wedding party is small, then avoid a larger facility that will appear empty. If the party is large, make sure there’s adequate room so guests won’t feel like they’re sitting on top of one another during dinner and dessert. * Don’t downplay decor. A banquet hall with an attractive decor is not only aesthetically appealing but can appeal to a couple’s finances as well. Such a hall likely won’t need any additional decorations, while a banquet hall that’s unadorned and lacks embellishments will, and those decorations can dip into a couple’s overall wedding budget. the Dress...

The modern teenage girl is fascinated by doing something original with her dress and that is different from the rest.

That is why they love the session of “Trash the dress”. This session takes place several weeks after the event of the Quinceañera. The session is very fun because the photos are taken in beautiful natural open air scenes. The images are of excellent quality since the girls are already relaxed. They pose in such a way that they would not do so when their dress is new.

Just as with a wedding dress, at the end of the celebration, the dress of 15 years ends up in the wardrobe and there it will remain the same for many years. In addition to that, the Quinceañera will not use her dress again, so she wants to celebrate the fact that there will be no more stress caused by the Quinceañera event. She wants to have fun once more, and what better way to do so than with a session of “Trash the dress”.

HOW TO USE ONE WEDDING DRESS FOR MULTIPLE WEDDING THEMES Your wedding dress and your wedding theme will be two of the biggest things on your mind as you go about planning your wedding.

Put a Ring On It! How to make sure your wedding band fits your style.

Today, your love story lives online. Take the engagement, for instance.

Nearly 60 percent of brides-to-be share their “we’re getting married” news by posting a picture of their engagement ring on Facebook (though about one in five of their fiancées think doing so is tacky!), according to a proposal survey.

Start with the metal. According to a study of wedding jewelry by The Knot, 73 percent of engagement rings are white gold, which also makes up 70 percent of wedding bands. Whether your ring is white or yellow gold or platinum or something else altogether, you’d be in good company sticking with the same base metal for your wedding band. Also keep in mind design elements. Maybe your engagement ring is a full or partial eternity band, or maybe it features pavé diamonds or accent gemstones. You can carry on these elements into your wedding band. White gold also is popular for the groom, with about one-third of grooms picking a blanco band. However, alternative metals like tungsten and titanium (think golf clubs!) have grown in popularity in recent years, not just because of their unique look, but their lower price point.

But on your big day – and every day thereafter – your wedding band will have equal billing alongside your engagement ring, even if it may be less sparkly.

You’ll want to make sure it is cohesive with your engagement ring and, of course, that it fits your style.

All About the Band What to keep in mind when shopping for wedding rings Maybe you weren’t involved in picking out your engagement bling (or maybe you were, as 36 percent of brides admitted to in a 2012 survey), but when you exchange rings during the ceremony, you and your new husband should both know the wedding rings you’ve chosen will look fabulous. But with so many options out

there, choosing a wedding ring is a like battle of the bands. Spouses should keep a few things in mind so shopping for a wedding ring runs smoothly.

Simple or Extravagent

While men tend to lean towards a simple design, women typically decide to go

another route. “We care about the visual, and they care about the comfort,” says Helena Krodel, director of media and special events at Jewelers of America.

“Some men today are opting to add diamonds or black diamonds, but they tend to be pretty straightforward,” she says.

Women tend to want special details like an eternity band – a row of diamonds around the ring – or even colored gemstones, Krodel says. If you have colored gemstones in your engagement ring, don’t be shy about also employing them in your wedding band.

Platinum and Gold

“Platimun tends to be the metal of choice for women’s engagement rings and wedding bands,” Krodel says. It’s not only a beautiful metal, it’s also hypoallergenic.

For men, the metal of choice is typically gold. But be sure to look for the quality mark and the purity before purchasing a gold ring, she adds. “18 carat gold is what people are opting for most often nowadays,” she says.

Wedding day bling Vintage pieces are trending now Brides generally spend a few hundred dollars on day-of-wedding jewelry — for themselves and often as gifts for their attendants, with the intention of the pieces being worn as part of the wedding ensemble.

Two local jewelry designers, Karol Kirberger and Barbara Maira, agreed that brides of all ages are influenced by the media; magazines, television shows like “Downton Abbey,” and movies like the new version of “The Great Gatsby” keep the vintage look popular. “‘Vintage is what we’re known for,” said Kirberger, who co-owns Wild Things, an artisan jewelry store in the Elmwood Village, with Stephaine Robb. “It doesn’t go out of style. Girls are influenced, as I am, by magazines, and also Hollywood. I love the eras portrayed in ‘Anna Karenina,’ and, of course, ‘The Great Gatsby’ right now.”

“In general, jewelry recently has had a focus on retro, even in engagement rings,” said Maira, the owner of Lisa Hunter Jewelry in Williamsville. “With our brides, there has been a shift to antique styles.

There’s more attention on it in the media… the ‘20s and ‘30s Art Deco is a popular period for jewelry.”

They also agreed that brides do not generally spend a lot on wedding-day jewelry — and usually stick with a white or clear look. Crystals, pearls and less costly stones are frequently sought; they are decorative, affordable and lovely.

“Pearls are very popular,” said Maira. “For the most part, brides are not interested in colored stones; they’ll select a clear stone, like a white topaz — it’s very dressy without the cost of diamonds.”

“I use a lot of Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls, with sterling silver and gold wire,” said Kirberger. “The prices vary, depending on the stones and materials.

Brides love crystal and bling.”

Do they go big or keep it simple? It depends on their personal style, say the jewelers.

The most popular necklace is the 16-inch choker length, they agree.

“I see brides going for the whole kit and caboodle,” said Kirberger, who also specializes in creating hair accessories.

“They’ll opt for a headpiece, earrings, necklace and a bracelet. It’s pretty timeless; I love long earrings, and I am seeing long earrings trending for brides.”

Other brides show a bit more restraint.

“They’re not necessarily doing both an elaborate earring and necklace,” Maira said. “If a bride chooses an outstanding necklace, she will perhaps wear a smaller earring, so the jewelry doesn’t compete.

If she selects a showy earring, she may forego a necklace altogether.”

Jewelry is a popular gift from the bride to her bridesmaids; often intended to be worn on the day of the big event.

“They tell me how much they want to spend, how many people, and I’ll scout around my selected vendors, order various samples, and then they can make their selections,” said Maira. “The girls then have the piece as a keepsake.”

Jewelers can also custom-design a piece using existing elements. Kirberger offers the option to base any of the bride’s jewelry on a family heirloom or special piece — or it can even be a flea-market find that becomes the centerpiece for a necklace, cuff or headpiece.

“Right now, I’m seeing headpieces trending,” she said. “I might find a beautiful costume pin at a flea market or antique store and put it on a comb wired with pearl and crystal. No two are alike. Also, for flower girls right now, we’re doing headbands with vintage fabric flowers.”

Kirberger said she gets a lot of enjoyment out of creating these pieces. “I’m touched when I see a bride put on the artisan-made jewelry; it seems to make them feel so special and beautiful.

They are overwhelmed when they look in the mirror; I think it’s that ‘dress-up’ feeling, we’ve all done it since we were little girls.

It can make you feel, for that day, you are like a princess. That’s the power of adornment.”

Austie Eckley, a Portland, Ore.-based hair and makeup artist, says many of the brides she works with find inspiration in celebrity images because starlets typically have top stylists creating their picture-perfect looks.

Brides, especially those who typically do not wear a lot of makeup, may not know how much to apply, resulting in a lackluster finished product. Here’s why the makeup artist can prove invaluable. * He or she can pinpoint your best features and play them up. As an unbiased observer, the makeup artist will not see your flaws but rather will look at your best assets.

The key thing, however, is to know yourself, says Megan Garmers, founder of MG Hair & Makeup, which provides services nationwide. Find examples of your desired look (as well as ones you don’t like), ideally on someone who looks like you.

“We all want to look like Beyoncé,” Garmers says, “but if your skin tone and hair type are more like Nicole Kidman, only a small fortune and a really good plastic surgeon can help you.” Of course, you also can point out aspects of pictures that appeal to you, such as flawless, glowing skin like Beyoncé’s, Garmers adds. But if you, say, have short and thin hair, understand that a large bun would require extensions.

Print photos or store them on your phone or tablet and bring them to your consult, Eckley says. “Or you can email a ... link to your stylist to help her or him prepare for the trial.”

Garmers also offers an iPhone/iPad app called iLook Beauty Book, which includes numerous hair and makeup images that you can filter through for specific beauty profiles, such as red lip, up-do, short hair, hair accessories, etc.

It also links through to the artist/stylist’s website so that you can ask how they did the look, get product recommendations or inquire if they provide bridal services in your area or know of someone who does.

That said, days or even months of online research and photo accumulation only go so far. “It’s important for brides to come in with an open mind,” Eckley says, “and take advantage of your stylist’s opinion.”

The Simple Beauty Plan “You look beautiful!” Certainly, that’s one of the most common utterances of wedding guests. So common, in fact, it seems as if beauty comes naturally to every bride.

Love’s glow may be a force of nature, but experts stress that a stunning bridal look is due to a carefully planned pre-wedding beauty regime. The best plan starts months before the event. Here’s our guid 6 months out: Book the pros If you don’t have a regular hair stylist you love, and if you think you could use a professional hand to apply your make-up, start asking friends whose look you like for recommendations, suggests look in W&Q Magazine for specialist.

Selecting a dress and headpiece also are early priorities, and you should book a ‘trial’ makeup application as soon as you know what you’ll be wearing, Smith advises.

“Choosing photos from magazines or googling hair and makeup styles [you like] and giving them to the stylist will help them understand what your vision is,” explains makeup artist Ana Baidet, who’s based in Key Largo, Florida. If you’re planning on a tan for the wedding, apply sunless tanning lotion on your face and body, so that the

professional knows how to accent the right skin tone, adds Nikki Robinson, CEO of Gloss and Glam, a hair and beauty service in New York.

Should you be dissatisfied with the trial run, there’s still time to book another. Ideally, “hair and makeup should be done on the same day, so you can see the total look,” Baidet says.

Exercise, a nutritious diet and sleep are beauty treatments you give yourself, and the longer these habits are maintained, the better the effects, notes Dr. Tanya Kormeili, a Santa Monica, California, dermatologist.

3 to 4 months out: Establish a Cleansing ritual: It’s the mundane daily routine of cleansing your face, gently exfoliating, and moisturizing with SPF that primes skin to be at its peak.

Find a group of products that accomplish these basic tasks and are geared to your skin type – and then stick to them, advises Kormeili. And you’ll avoid bad reactions (allergic or otherwise) which could be caused from introducing new products right before the wedding. If you suffer from skin imperfections caused by rosacea, sun damage, broken blood vessels, a dermatologist can usually remedy the situation with laser or other

treatments, says Kormeili. But the skin takes time to repair and heal, and some treatments must be administered over a period of months. That’s why seeing a dermatologist at least four months or so in advance of the date is necessary, she adds.

It’s also possible to inject pimples with cortisone to rid them quickly, but try the treatment in advance of the days just preceding the wedding, Kormeili advises. 1 month to 2 weeks out: Trim your tresses “Most brides grow their hair for their wedding, so they have more options for hairstyles,” Smith says. “This is great, but definitely get a trim within the month before your wedding.

Split ends make your gorgeous up-do look a little frizzy and the hair doesn’t hold the curl as well.

1 week out: Allow recovery time: “Do not schedule a facial close to your wedding; a week or more is safer if your skin needs some recovery time,” advises Liz Washer, a Northampton, Massachusetts, makeup artist. And, facial waxing can leave redness and prevent make-up from adhering well for the days immediately after the treatment, Washer adds.

1 day out: Relax with mani/pedi: The day before the event is perfect for relaxing in the salon. “This way you are not in a rush to dry your nails, but you don’t have enough time to mess them up,” Robinson adds.

A good rule of thumb is to mail out the invitations at least two months before the party. Have an RSVP date of no more than three to four weeks before the day, giving ample time to the caterers and accommodating anyone who procrastinates in sending in a response. Enable your guests to relax and party without worrying about how they’re getting home by making sure that you have transportation to get them safely from the reception site to the hotel. If it’s in the budget, consider hiring a bus, shuttle or trolley. If you’re one of the lucky ones, you might even find that you can use your hotel shuttle for free or for a discounted rate after booking your rooms.

Budget Smart: If you have a smaller guest list – and you trust everyone to be ready on time – you might just hire one bus to drop off and pick up wedding guests at one specific time. If you’re renting a limo for your bridal party, ask the company if they offer other transportation as well. Booking more than one type of vehicle with the same company may save you some money.

If there’s simply no way to work guest transportation into your wedding budget then make sure to ask your wedding reception site to have taxis waiting at the end of the night. Depending on your reception and ceremony locations, you may not even need to provide mass transportation for your wedding guests. Bakeries and cake shops definitely seen an increase in their gluten-free products over the past year. But exactly why would someone want to go gluten-free? Well, for some people, it’s not exactly a choice. According to the Celiac Disease Foundation, 1 in 133 people struggle with celiac disease – a condition that damages the lining of the small intestine and prevents it from absorbing parts of food that are important for staying healthy. That damage is due to a reaction to eating gluten. The increase in gluten-free cakes is due to the rising awareness about gluten allergies. Multiple different health problems happen because of gluten allergies. Some people are trying out this gluten-free lifestyle in order to see if it will improve their health in any way.

Going gluten-free can take a number of forms at your wedding, too. You can have cupcakes or a few gluten-free treats available if some of your attendees have special dietary needs.

It’s a simple answer to this question That is why they love the session of “Trash the dress”. This session takes place several weeks after the event of the Quinceañera. The session is very fun because the photos are taken in beautiful natural open air scenes. The images are of excellent quality since the girls are already relaxed. They pose in such a way that they would not do so when their dress is new.

Just as with a wedding dress, at the end of the celebration, the dress of 15 years ends up in the wardrobe and there it will remain the same for many years. In addition to that, the Quinceañera will not use her dress again, so she wants to celebrate the fact that there will be no more stress caused by the Quinceañera event. She wants to have fun once more, and what better way to do so than with a session of “Trash the dress”.
