With a mutual love for exploring exotic locations, a tropical destination wedding was a natural choice for Kayla and Tom. Creating their own piece of paradise with chic bohemian styling, pretty pastel blooms and plenty of surprises lined up for their guests, they made sure the fun kept coming, right until their sparkler send-off to Coldplay's 'A Sky Full Of Stars'.

The Vibe
“We wanted the reception to feel relaxed but classy, with a luxe boho touch. I love flowers and they are expensive, but I do feel as though they made it. A macramé arbour with dreamcatchers was behind our wedding table, and we had king and queen peacock chairs. For entertainment, we had a Polaroid guest book, tarot card reader, slow motion video booth and a DJ that had everyone up dancing. Our midnight treat lolly bags were also a massive hit at the end of the night!”
Best Advice 1. Make sure it's about the two of you and your love for each other. It’s nice to have your soon-tobe husband involved as much as possible. 2. Meditate the night before to help with some of the unwanted stress. 3. Enjoy the day as it goes way too fast – I didn’t even have the chance to touch up my makeup!

Celebrating within the grounds of an historic convent, they introduced a subtle travel theme as a nod to how they met, performed their first dance beneath a magical floral canopy and finished the night's feast with a truly show-stopping cake.
Bridal Party Style “I saw a dress on Pinterest and funnily enough, it was the only one that gave me butterflies when I put it on! Adam not only organised the suits but also the bridesmaid dresses - he found the exact dusty pink colour and style we were after.�
Best Advice “It’s not just about the bride - planning as a couple is key! Organise things early as you don’t want to miss out on preferred suppliers, and remember to laugh if things get stressful. At times it felt overwhelming with so many options, but as soon as we found and were comfortable with our suppliers, the planning was fun.”
My family forms a circle around the dance floor to say goodbye and Adam's makes a farewell tunnel, so we did both!

Mel and Matt’s rustic wedding nailed the brief of a weekend in the country with their nearest and dearest! Their vibrant tangerine palette flowed from ceremony to reception, with striking bridesmaid styling and a bridal table backdrop featuring citrus fruits and cascading ferns. With a focus on bringing everyone together to celebrate their relationship, their gorgeous smiles say it all!
The moment I walked down the aisle to Matt, I felt the nerves disappear. I was so at ease and happy it's something we'll both never forget.
Wedding Style “We didn't have an exact image of what our day would look like or where we would get married. We liked the idea of a big house that we could have friends and family stay in so the wedding celebrations could include the weekend. Although the venue was the first and biggest decision we had to make, it made organising the rest a lot simpler - except when my credit card got cancelled twice because of an ‘unusual amount of activity’!”
Best Advice “Enjoy the process of planning the biggest party! Make lots of lists and tick lots of boxes as you go. No matter what happens or what goes wrong, it will be the best day ever.�

Lauren and Kelly wanted to make sure their guests had an amazing time at their modern farm wedding! They included sweet personal details to acknowledge their shared background, styled their bridal party in timeless ivory and navy and had stunning floral arrangements do double duty for the ceremony and reception, creating a day they would cherish forever.
The Dress “I went to three different shops and my dress was the second one I tried on. I knew it was the one as soon as I put it on. It’s hard to describe how you know, but everything I tried afterwards didn’t even compare. I just love my dress!”
Personal Touches “We’re both from farming families, so we used paddocks from our parents' farms as our table names at the reception. We also had a rustic milk churn for our wishing well, and my aunty made tomato relish bonbonnieres.”
Best Advice “Don’t stress about the small stuff. It all works out in the end, and no one knows if it doesn’t. Being super organised and booking things as soon as you’ve set a date allows you to plan the wedding of your dreams and enjoy every second! Also make sure you hire a videographer for the day to capture all of the amazing moments. We’ve watched our film about 50 times already and can’t wait to show our kids one day.”
