Hello, I’m Becky
I’m a photographer who loves weddings. I specialise in subtle, natural wedding photography and shoot in a very relaxed and documentary style. My photography has been featured on several leading wedding blogs and in magazines and I take great pride in what I do.
Photography became my job because I couldn’t resist the tug, the lure of it any longer. I wanted to be a photographer so badly and I now put everything I have into everything I do, simply because I don’t know how to do it any other way.
So this is me and these are some things I love:
White Company Winter Candles, Superga leopard print trainers, Frys Chocolate Cream, Peter James books, my very lovely and supportive husband, 90s music especially a bit of Soul II Soul, Chicken Katsu curry, being in Italy, rolling around on the floor with my twins, a Spring Sunday walk followed by lunch in the pub, Elemis pillow spray, my cat Frank, US television show The Following, Christmas in Cornwall, builders tea, CoCo Mademoiselle, nearly everything in Mint Velvet!, Coldplay and chilled Prosecco.
Whilst I’m based close to Bristol I cover weddings across the UK and will also travel overseas. If you want me at your wedding and I’m not already booked then I’ll be there with bells on!
Becky was a dream to work with right from the very start. We got married in December and Becky travelled over 140 miles to photograph our wedding ... we could not be more happy that she agreed to make the journey for us. She put us at ease at our engagement shoot and we knew then that we had really lucked out with stumbling upon such a talented and experienced photographer. She made us feel so relaxed and happy and we trusted her entirely. We could not have been more happy with our photographs... They surpassed all of our expectations and we will treasure them forever. Accommodating, professional, super creative but most importantly just a really lovely lady. It was a joy to have Becky at our wedding and cannot recommend her enough.

My photography style
Nothing formal, Nothing stuffy. Your wedding is going to be relaxed and fun and that’s my photography style. I like to capture those moments not create them.
This isn’t just a job for me its my business and I really care about all my couples. I want them to feel looked after and I want them to feel looked after before, during and after their wedding day.
Working with me
I describe my photography style as ‘honest’, I capture your wedding day naturally, from the ‘yee-haaa, we did it’ moment as you walk down the aisle, to the ‘squeeze your eyes shut confetti pelting moment’ and the head in hands best man’s speech. I like to capture these moments not create them. My work is clean and organic and results in photos that have a timeless feel full of emotion and joy.

An engagement shoot lets you experience what it’s like to be in front of the camera, so that you’ll realise there is no need to feel nervous on your wedding day. You’ll get to see how I work and I guarantee you’ll feel far more relaxed on the day. The shoot is super relaxed. Plus you get some non-weddingy images for your home or perhaps you’d like to use these on your Save the Date cards? You can choose the location or let me recommend somewhere. Some couples choose the place the proposal took place, a local beach, cool urban city shoot or somewhere with a bit of interest - not just the local park.

An Overseas Wedding? I got married in Italy on a boiling hot September day. It was magical and absolutely the best day of my life. I love to travel and am happy to put together personalised quotes for overseas weddings. I always aim to travel two days before the wedding ceremony to allow for any travel delays and to meet you on location the day before. If you are currently planning a wedding abroad then get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Any questions? How much deposit do you ask for and by when? £200 secures your wedding date. I then ask for the remaining full balance to be paid no later than 30 days prior to the wedding ceremony. Are you insured? Yes, I am fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance. What happens if you are ill on the day? I’m part of a group of 22 wedding photographers called the Shooting Sisters. Whilst no wedding photographer can guarantee against illness, I could fall back on the Shooting Sisters in an emergency and I would do my utmost to find you a replacement photographer from this group. Having known and shot with these photographers for a number of years, I trust them and the quality of their work. Do you take group shots? Yes, I take these in a relaxed way so they won’t take up too much time. As each shot takes around 7 minutes to assemble, I do recommend your shot list isn’t too large. (Max of 8 is recommended). Do you need feeding? Yes please, working 8 hours + without food is exhausting and realistically my energy levels are pretty whacked if not fed!
