The ‘West’ wing is commonly regarded as the best. Residents of the West wing have an exclusive entrance, accessible via a coded gate, and includes lift access directly into a private lobby via a secure fob system.
Our favourite part about the West wing? The unobstructed views from your private balcony towards some of the best sunsets Essex has to offer.
Locations might not get better than this.
Just a short stroll to local shops, fabulous restaurants and bars and, of course, the seaside.
Evenings will always be exciting when the casino is within walking distance, offering the chance for a flutter or two, along with music and dancing into the early hours.
Why not catch a show at the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre with a seafront meander home afterwards, perhaps even a nightcap on the balcony?
There are many excellent schools in the area for children of all ages (including ‘Outstanding’ grammar schools), and access to major motorways is simple if you need to commute.
Railway travel is within easy access, just a 10-minute walk in either direction to Westcliff Train Station or Chalkwell Train Station, taking you directly into London Fenchurch or London Liverpool Street in less than an hour.
This convenient location will make your daily life a breeze.
Take a breath as the lift rises. The pleasant ‘ding’ of the door chimes as it slides open directly into the private lobby...
A fully glazed wall at the end showcases your first glimpse of the jaw-dropping estuary views.
This space is currently used as a home office – the space and the bespoke cabinetry makes this a ‘WFH’ space one can only dream of, but we can’t promise that the view won’t distract you.
“Friends are always lost for words when they come over for drinks and see the views.”
The living area has a bespoke wall unit for the TV and space for comfortable seating. There is a nook where you can sit in the windows and read or enjoy the views, and the dining table sits just in front of the sliding doors to the balcony.
The enormous windows have unspoilt views as light pours in, creating a perfect space for social gatherings.
“The estuary is tidal, so the view changes every time you look out - you could never get bored of it.”
The breakfast bar area is perfect for friends to perch with a glass of wine while you put the finishing touches on your culinary creations.
Slide the doors open to let the fresh seaside air in, and enjoy a moment of peace with your morning coffee on the balcony as the world begins to wake up, or savor a glass or two with friends as the sun sets on the horizon.
The balcony has a covering that provides shelter, meaning that it can be enjoyed whatever the weather.
The apartment faces south, so the sun warms it throughout the day, and the zoned underfloor heating ensures that the whole home is at the perfect temperature.
The kitchen, recently fitted with dark grey handleless units and Quartz worktops, is a chef’s dream. It comes equipped with two electric ovens, two microwaves, two freezers, a dishwasher, a fridge, and a washer-dryer. The breakfast bar area is perfect for friends to perch with a glass of wine while you put the finishing touches on your culinary creations.
The master bedroom is a tranquil space for a good night’s rest. It has an en suite bathroom with a large walkin shower, his-and-hers sink in a vanity unit, a WC, and a heated towel rail, ensuring you can relax and unwind in peace.
The second bedroom is lovely and cosy, and with it’s spacious en suite shower roommakes a wonderful guest bedroom.
The third bedroom has fitted wardrobes with sliding doors for maximum storage.
A Walk?
Dinner?
I honestly can’t choose! There are so many lovely restaurants around here. Toulouse is 1 minute away, the food is lovely and it’s just so convenient.
A Gym?
When we moved here we kept our David Lloyd membership, now we just use the one downstairs, it has everything we need and it’s always so quiet.
We love walking along the seafront, it’s so beautiful and right on the doorstep. It’s also very peaceful, especially in the mornings and evenings.
A Supermarket?
Waitrose on London Road is a 5-10 minute drive, or we may pop into M&S if we’re in Southend. There are many others all within a 10 minute drive too.
Coffee?
We love Stop The World on Leigh Broadway for some coffee and cake, there are so many to choose from. Surf on Chalkwell Esplanade is lovely too.
Schools?
Blenheim Primary and West Leigh Juniors are both rated ‘Outstanding’. Southend & Westcliff High are rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary schools.
