EDWARDSTONE

It’s great to see Alan King with another brilliant racehorse. Edwardstone had a couple of tries over fences back in 2020, where things didn’t go to plan. However, this season he is a reformed character and could do no wrong over fences. He has won five races this season, including four Graded races and will be one to look forward to next season in open company.

L’HOMME PRESSE

L’Homme Presse has been another to improve through the ranks at a frightening pace. He began with a win in a Class Three at Exeter back in December and ended the season winning the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham. Along the way he was a mightily impressive winner in the Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase, and it will be great to see him back at the track today.

SIRE DE GRUGY

Sire Du Grugy is a bit of a legend at Sandown Park and needs no introduction. The Gary Moore trained gelding has won four times at the track, including an unbelievable two Tingle Creek’s and one Celebration Chase. He wore his heart on his sleeve and we can’t wait to see him back here today.
