Tongue Strap worn first time by No 2. Sheepskin Cheek Pieces worn first time by No 1. Hood worn by No 2. Tongue Strap worn by No 7. Sheepskin Cheek Pieces worn by No 6, 7.
Running for the first time since Gelding No 4. Running for the first time since Wind Surgery No 2.
Stewards Note:
ZAINALARAB: Following its run on 24/9/2022 it was reported that the trainer could not explain the poor run.
Probable S.P’s: 4-1 Gorak (FR), 11-2 Zainalarab (GB), Persuasion (IRE), 8-1 Ffion (GB), 17-2 Roman Dragon (GB), 9-1 Tuscan (IRE), 10-1 Royal Pleasure (IRE), 12-1 Equiano Springs (GB), 18-1 Alexander James (IRE)
ZAINALARAB ended his 3-y-o campaign in a bit of a lull, but its significant connections have kept the faith with him (gelded in the interim), so’s put forward as a tentative selection returning from 8 months off Frankie Dettori gets on board Roman Dragon for the first time, and he could give the selection most to think about with a recent run under his belt, ahead of Persuasion and Royal Pleasure, in what looks a wide-open finale.
