Good afternoon and welcome back to Haydock Park for Betfred Temple Stakes Day! So far this week we’ve enjoyed two days of great racing and the excitement is set to continue throughout the afternoon.

Today’s feature race is the Group Two Betfred Temple Stakes, which is run over five furlongs. The race, which gets underway at 3.30pm, is a popular starting place for some of the top speedsters in training each season.

Also on the card is the Group Two Betfred Sandy Lane Stakes for three-year-olds, which is seen as a key trial for the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot.

After today, we next race on Friday the 9th of June, while on the following day we will be hosting the John of Gaunt Stakes

On top of a summer calendar jam packed full of great racing, we also have the return of our Music Nights and will be joined by both Craig David on June 24th and Nile Rogers & Chic on August 11. We can’t wait!
