Welcome to all our Annual Members on Swinton hurdle day for a day of eclectic action.

I’d like to welcome all our annual badge holders to Betfred Temple Stakes Day at Haydock Park The Temple is a fantastic test of exceptionally quick equine talent. Previous winners of this contest include Dayjur, Lochsong, Sole Power and the fantastic Battaash Today’s field looks thoroughly competitive and hopefully we see a performance to match the aforementioned brilliance of those already named

The supporting card consisting of the Sandy Lane and Silver Bowl is likely to give us Royal Ascot clues with the classic generation represented in both races.

There is available to you the usual menagerie of facilities mentioned at your disposals from your reserved seating area to private boxes to view todays action

It is fantastic that the weather has been so kind to us for this fixture and the racecourse’s horticultural team talent can be shown throughout the site

As is usual at this time of year, the action comes thick and fast at Haydock Park in the forth coming weeks with the John of Gaunt Stakes coming up in just two weeks time. The flat season climaxes with the Sprint Cup in early September.
