WELCOME A very warm welcome to our Boë Ladies’ Night, with a fantastic line up of entertainment on and off the track, with Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan from Blue, Chris Hughes and Roman Kemp all here to enjoy the party. It’s our biggest night of the season and tonight we have a full card of exciting racing with seven races to thrill you. A very big thank you to House of Boë for partnering with us this evening – their award-winning range of gins and vodkas are incredibly popular, as are their new range of pre-mixed cocktails and spritzers, all of which are available around the racecourse. Make your way to the stylish Boë Bar to try one of their delicious offerings. We also have the ever-popular Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar where you can enjoy a glass or two of fantastic fizz. Both bars are situated around the main catwalk stage and offer prime viewing of this evenings’ off-track entertainment. I’d also like to thank our other race sponsors PDM Buildbase, Gas Call, Apex Traffic Management, EBF, German Doner Kebab, Jordan Electrics and MacGregor Flooring. Your support of our race programme is very much appreciated and I hope you and your guests all have a wonderful night. My thanks also go to the incredible team here at Hamilton Park who have worked tirelessly to create tonight’s event for you all to enjoy. Tonight’s feature race, the £18,000 Apex Traffic Management EBF Soba Conditions Stakes at 7.25pm, has a small but competitive field for what is sure to be a fast and furious contest over our shortest race distance. Dragon Symbol, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by David Egan, won the EBF Tangerine Trees Conditions race here in May 2021 and has been racing in higher grade contests of late, including the Group 1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. Elsewhere on the card, leading Owner Jimmy Long has five runners this evening and will no doubt be hoping to extend his lead at the top of our Owners Championship. His most recent winner was Clan Jock, who is amongst a competitive field of nine runners in the Jordan Electrics Handicap at 8.30pm. Throughout the evening we have an exciting line up of fashion shows and competitions with some incredible prizes up for grabs. Our Cosmedicare Best Dressed Lady competition gets underway at 5pm so be sure to register to enter at the Moët Bar from 4.30pm. Cosmedicare are also sponsoring our fabulous new flower wall next to the Information Kiosk, so do head along and get your pictures taken and of course share them on social media using #Hamiltonraces. It’s not all about the ladies though as our secret spotters will be in the crowd to find our Slater Menswear Man of Style 2022. Join us at the Catwalk Stage at 7pm to find out which dapper gent will be walking away with tonight’s wonderful list of prizes! TV star and racing enthusiast Chris Hughes is with us tonight as special guest judge of our fashion competitions, and he will also be joining Jim in the Winners’ Enclosure to share his passion for racing. Blue stars Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan will take to the stage at 4.15pm for what is sure to be a great live performance, and then after racing Capital FM DJ and TV star Roman Kemp and Capital FM DJ Katy J will be spinning the decks for the after party, so make sure you stay will us to dance the night away until 11pm. Have an amazing night and be lucky! Kind Regards ASHLEY MOON, RACECOURSE MANAGING DIRECTOR

A nursery is a handicap that is restricted to two-year-olds only. In order to be allowed to take part, entrants must have already run in three maiden or novice races, or have won two races, which then qualifies them for an official handicap rating based on what they have achieved so far. Quite simply, the higher their rating, the bigger the weight they have to carry. This particular six furlongs race is for horses which have been rated from 0 to 85. THE BOE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) RACE DESCRIPTION

To qualify for a handicap rating horses must have run at least three times in a Flat race in Britain, or have run in no more than two Flat races run in Britain and won at least one of them. This rating then dictates the weight to be carried in a handicap. In simple terms a horse rated 75 in this particular race would be required to carry 5lb more than a rival rated 70.

ONE MILE about FIVE FURLONGS (13f abt 16yds) (2600m)

Third Race

6.55pm

THE GAS CALL SERVICES HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) RACE DESCRIPTION

This is a one mile and five furlongs handicap race for threeyear-olds and upwards which have been rated from 66 to 85. To qualify for a handicap rating horses must have run at least three times in a Flat race in Britain, or have run in no more than two Flat races run in Britain and won at least one of them. This rating then dictates the weight to be carried in a handicap. In simple terms a horse rated 85 in this particular race would be required to carry 5lb more than a rival rated 80.

RACE STATISTICS

Leading course trainer (17-22): K Dalgleish (50 wins from 410 runners, 12%) runs HEIGHTS OF ABRAHAM Trainer-in-form (last 14 days): C & M Johnston (9 wins from 81 runners, 11%) runs TROJAN HORSE Longest Traveller: DIVINE JEWEL trained by R Varian, Newmarket, 360 miles.

BETTING FORECAST:

5-4 Divine Jewel (GB), 10-3 Wickywickywheels (IRE), 17-2 Trojan Horse (IRE), 11-1 Zimmerman (GB), 14-1 Ebony Maw (GB), 20-1 Heights of Abraham (IRE), 22-1 Two Auld Pals (IRE) RACE SUMMARY: DIVINE JEWEL arrives on an upward curve and can quickly resume winning ways having not been seen to best effect when runner-up at Newbury. Jim Goldie has his string in great nick and his hat-trick seeking Wickywickywheels is feared most on the back of an impressive course success. ONE MILE about THREE FURLONGS (11f abt 15yds) (2200m)

Sixth Race

8.30pm

THE JORDAN ELECTRICS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) RACE DESCRIPTION

This is a one mile and three furlongs handicap race for three-yearolds and upwards which have been rated from 46 to 60. Once a horse has qualified for a handicap rating this is regularly reassessed. A below-par effort could result in a reduced rating whilst a strong performance could see the rating increased. Occasionally, horses are entered to race before their handicap rating has been reviewed and so to avoid recent winners being un-penalised they are allotted a mandatory penalty – usually 6lb.

ONE MILE, ONE FURLONG about 35 YARDS (9f abt 35yds) (1800m)

Seventh Race

9.00pm

THE MACGREGOR FLOORING HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) RACE DESCRIPTION

This is a one mile and four furlongs handicap race for threeyear-olds and upwards which have been rated from 46 to 55. To qualify for a handicap rating horses must have run at least three times in a Flat race in Britain, or have run in no more than two Flat races run in Britain and won at least one of them. This rating then dictates the weight to be carried in a handicap. In simple terms a horse rated 55 in this particular race would be required to carry 5lb more than a rival rated 50.
